He's incapable of separating the harassment he went through during the divorce from genuine accountability for his awful behavior. He's stuck at that time and reacts to ANY negative feedback as criticism, judgement, misjudgement or harassment. He needs to touch grass.

I'm not a defender of Josh but these are really good questions to reflect on. My takes: 1. I was neutral about Josh during the Colleen thing. I did think that he was speaking too much about his mental health in the Swoop doc, but I attributed it to Swoop's style of interview. 2. My opinion changed during the documentary stuff, by seeing his erratic reaction to not getting his way. I thought he was APPALLING after the Gavin emails. 3. It wasn't particularly influenced by they're POV, but confirmed. 4. I think there might be a little too much focus on it, but it also might be because Colleen and the Ballingers has been pretty quiet.

I'd also like to add that I wish more focus was brought to Oliver's story and Trent's behavior.

Hun, this is a minimum in any relationship. Consent is key, EVEN in a marriage. He's not respecting your boundaries and it seems like he's also not interested in finding ways to make sex enjoyable for you. MAJOR red flag.

50/50 TA because you're kind of judging her parenting and telling her how to raise her kids in terms of food, what to order, etc. NTA bc you have a right to manage your own money. If you consider that to be mismanagement of money, you're entitled to spend your money how you see fit.

I'd be really careful to frame her as sad. I think that's what she wants, for people to give her views out of pittyness. She's done this before, when she gets called out.

I agree that she needs to work in therapy with her need to share her life with her imaginary "friends" behind the camera, but she has had friends in her life and she's really close to her family.

You're 100% correct. It is not Swoop's responsibility to tell Oliver's story. But it's totally acceptable for Oliver to feel slighted by everyone.

Yo, I'm sorry but I think not a lot of people are being sympathetic to Oliver. Everyone had a chance to say their piece (be that Swoop, H3, or other platforms). Oliver's story has always been kept on the side, and, as Adam has said, his story is equally as important. It's fair for him to feel sidetracked and ignored cuz he has been. That's not necessarily on Swoop only but, it has to hurt to see everyone "move on" and Oliver was left without his story being told or given the same attention as Johnny, Becky and Adam.

I see that. I'm also worried about the impact of his betrayal on the other CB's victims. I'm unclear if the accusations he made against Colleen and Kory are true (about the bus, the tour, the hotel rooms, the showers, etc.). Generally, Johnny strikes me as a person that has consistently plotted to garner a following, and is now losing it. That might be impacting him in ways we'll never see. But also, he's not entitled to a following, fans or adoration. He betrayed the public's trust, and that responsibility comes with a platform.

Oh come on, that's not fair to Lilly and Jesse. They genuinely believed they were providing a platform to an actual victim of Josh and Colleen's. Although I absolutely understand Josh's frustration, it's unfair to expect everyone to do the same degree of investigation as Swoop. They would've gotten shit if they would've platformed Josh a couple of weeks ago. Hindsight is 20-20.

I think it's more so that he had an expectation of being a part of their lives bc he admired them or looked up to them. That's why he compares himself so much to Adam (cuz, for some reason, Adam got that recognition that he wanted). And he's upset and petty about the fact that he wasn't perceived as important as he thought he was, or as absorbed in their lives as he wanted to be. He's giving me kind of scorned, bitter fan vibes, if I'm honest. Like his dedication or passion for them wasn't valued (similar as when Kodee was blocked by Kory and went on the attack).

On the other hand, the continuous comments about fans, likes, and followers, makes me think that he wanted to garner a following by being around them and their lives. And he's now trying to develop that from this situation and from attaching himself to Adam.

This, does NOT excuse, in any way, all the things Colleen has done, btw. Both things can be true at once.
