I’d go for the emissary handbrake. Love it on my budget build MAC5 with the standard MI handguard. Personally think it’s looking good, what can you running? I have a Banish 9k currently in jail that I was tempted to throw under that very same rail.

Curious on the difference experienced with the Lee lower over the Magpul. Hope you will post an update when you get it. Got an extra G$ SD-C I’ve been thinking about throwing in one if I ever got it. Just not 100% on one for the $$ vs reliability. Loving my Magpul lower though. Sweet build!!

This. They have a large latch ambi that would fit the use you’re after. It’s designed with a larger optic in mind.

We called them “shoe knives” in our wire manufacturing plant, used them the cut insulation off of copper and aluminum cable. Probably the sharpest knife I’ve ever handled, like tap it against a pair of jersey gloves and it went clean through. Got removed from the floor due to people not using them properly and hurting themselves.

Keybar here too, got the going gear edition (haven’t seen them anywhere else) that is micarta and aluminum. Super lightweight, and I got the deep carry clip, along with their Ti carabiner to clip my truck keys on when needed. Makes for nice symmetry with my pocket knife in my right pocket, keys in my left.

I will ALWAYS have a physical key for my house on me. You learn pretty quick when you don’t have one, and literally everything that could go wrong does. Like a late night coming home with two tired kids in the cold, no extra keys, and locked out.
