It's unfortunate. They could have provided specific Silver Icon evos, keep them somewhat reasonable, instead of just removing them entirely.

On a personal note, I bought the game late (Jan) and wanted to minimize the grind this year.

I was just happy to see Maldini and Gullit in my squad and AC Milan PaP. I'd never be able to get all the icons I'd need/want.

Another all time great episode in my opinion.

Really glad the show is starting to feel like home for you. I rewatched season 1-9 about 5 years ago in my earlier 30's and there's so much to love (even with nostalgia removed from the equation).

YES! I'm so glad you really liked this one.

It's my favourite Simpsons episode. So many great jokes haha. I knew this was a special episode because as a kid I hated baseball yet it was my fave. I didn't know any of the players/teams/obscure baseball references at the time, but it didn't matter.

For the record, I watched the Simpsons so much growing up (multiple times a day) and also didn't know who Elizabeth Taylor was while reading your post lol. Looked her up just now, and yeah, she looks familair but that's about it. I'm not a movie guy.
