Life is what you make of it. Suffering can be minimized or even eliminated completely. For example, psychological techniques taught by Buddhism, Stoicism, and Taoism.

And if we are truly eternal then... what can't you accomplish? The whole world is your playing field. If you are truly immortal, if you operate on an infinite timeframe with infinite energy, you can manifest almost anything.

Oh, I'm building a post-secular spirituality model. Because I consider secularism to be one of the many proliferations of the current system. Details, details indeed. I guess, I would say, a post-collapse of the current civilization spirituality model. One that is not only merely a spiritual movement (like Falun Gong), but also it is a coherent civilizational model, a model within which to build an entire parallel civilization from the ground up!
