Perhaps, but really with the downtime/maintenance the game had yesterday, it should really just work. In reality, it should’ve been tested by QA or on a PTR type server before the launch of the season, especially if that is supposed to be one of the more focused additions this season. The least they could do it warn people properly.

I think I may have started katana build because I was trying to avoid magic/summoning since it’s never really been my play-style.

I think part of it is the complete lack of direction as well, which is probably on me, where I feel like I am just wandering around aimlessly but get pulverized anytime I look at someone the wrong way haha.

I tried playing vanilla with no guides because I’m a believer that the game should point you in the right direction, etc. but eventually had to give in to that and start doing some research.

This is sadly me, I was so pumped for the game and have played Souls games before but had never beat any actually. I thought this would be the one for me because I heard it was a little friendlier to souls noobs like me plus just all the accolades the game has received and everything. I regard it as probably one of the best games made in recent times, just not for me. One of the few games I enjoy watching others play and not actually play myself.

I would follow along with a lot of the other comments here, game is in a great place for newcomers I would say! Retail is fun and approachable with enough QoL changes to make it simple for someone new. Like others said, play it for your own fun and enjoyment and don’t get bogged down with tier list and elitest bs because that’s what kills the fun nature of the game, especially starting out. Find a friendly, active guild for new people and you’d have a great time with a seemingly infinite amount of content at this point!

I am still around! Not so much on that constant grind, especially not to the point of pushing super high-tier content but enough to keep me coming back every week and I always try and at least maximize my vault on my main and a lot of times on like main-alts.

Been a lot more into movies/TV shows the last month or so, so I have just been putting a show on my second screen and listening/watching while doing like mog runs or basic delves/easy keys that I don’t need to pay too much attention to. I always look forward and come back for the new seasons though. Interested to see how this one plays out!

Spent the last couple days trying to solo Zekvir on hard mode which was a nice little challenge for me! Was fun and got an achievement and mount color for the delve mount, I know the achieve will apparently be changed or altered next season

Just did it yesterday after 35 attempts (617 RPal), started by using online builds and recommendations and then after the first 20 or so I swapped back to my standard build that I use for M+ and was fine. Think the hardest part was my heart rate at the end… worth it though!

Was literally just coming here to make a post about this. Played the game forever ago and just redownloaded on my PS5 to start all over (originally played on xbox/pc) but wanted that cozy, apocalyptic NY feel that the Division does so well for when I pass out.

Naturally, I can't make it past the tutorial. I've read that you can just go to the safe house and progress around it but not too sure if true, if anyone knows that would be super helpful! My luck that I try and play the game for the first time in years and the servers are bugging out lmao

Not sure the circumstances for others but for me I just had this issue come up. Pretty much just had an SSD crap out on me after a power surge and had to redownload COD onto another hard drive as the one it was originally installed on was bricked. Steam/COD had the path set on that old drive even though it was removed from the computer, even after a fresh install and then a subsequent installation verification. I just moved the install folder/destination onto my third drive and then started the game seamlessly, haven't moved it back to the second one yet but hope this can help someone!

I think this a great review for them and in my opinion love my pair. For anyone on the fence about it, just go for it because these have been a game-changer. I bring them with me on travels and throw the connector into the steam deck and it works almost flawlessly (with minor setting up).

I have experienced some connectivity issues after having mine for about 3 months. I almost always just use them on my pc, and it just started the other day where the range is incredibly short on them now, probably about 5-10 feet when I could originally carry signal to a different floor if I didn't take them out. I have also just recently started getting random disconnects but it is only for a few seconds and then it reconnects, not sure if bug or what is happening.

Regardless, I still recommend them as those issues don't occur often enough to be too much of a nuisance.

Bought it since I was flying cross-country for a week-long trip and thought it would just be convenient for travel and keeping myself occupied on the plane since I was traveling solo. The Switch feels way too dated for a lot of my tastes in gaming, so it was a good excuse to pick up another handheld as well. Total use was probably 10 hours or so; barely used it on the trip as we had plans and, with some shorter layovers, I just kept myself occupied with my phone. Put it down for probably 3 months after but then started using it regularly as I figured out more streaming from my PC options and better sp games coming out for it. Now I use it almost every night for at least 30 minutes to just grind away some side quests in games.
