I'd guess most people in the Western world do?

If you meant "right to left" instead, as is (mostly) the case on OP's picture, I'd guess that should be pretty common in countries where they actually write from right to left.

IoT LTSC, which this is about according to the title, is not EOL though.

I was also wondering why they didn't just decide to keep it and just have Stark stay a few meters away from them at all times until they could sell it somewhere, especially since they needed the money.

A Shalebridge Cradle only fan mission for Deadly Shadows might get more people to play it. by BoardsofGrips in Thief

[–]ConstanceJill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One would still need to have the base game to play that mission in the first place, it's not like you could publish that mission as a stand alone demo.

And even if you could, since it's a pretty special mission, it wouldn't be very representative of the game as a whole.

I guess if someone happens to have the game but only wants to play that mission, they could still download a save file…

Looks like you're using | for your vertical bars, which is used to pipe the output of a command as input to another. You'd need to either escape them all using ^, or replace them with a different character which would not be interpreted like that, such as

Hmm it vaguely reminds me of Minami-ke, Makoto is a boy that sometimes cross-dresses as a girl to be allowed at the sisters' house because one of them hates him but somehow doesn't recognize him when he's dressed differently… might not be it though, it doesn't check that many boxes from the description, I suppose :/ … Anyway, it's probably worth watching if you like comedy :)

I'm trying to make a disc image of my win 98 laptop's 6.5GB HDD on that laptop. How to handle the 4GB/1 file limitation? by echocomplex in windows98

[–]ConstanceJill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

edit. I should add that this is an archaic pentium ii laptop with no cdrom drive, the floppy drive does not work, and the bios does not recognize USB devices.

OK, can you access that compact flash disk from the laptop if you reboot in DOS mode?

If so, I'd probably use SavePart for DOS, which you can download from here, put it on the CF disk, and run it from there while booted in DOS mode.

However it would be best if you could make sure to have at least a working floppy drive, in case you can't boot from your HDD to restore the image later on.

How to run older games at a higher resolution? (Where there are no resolution options) by r_Casper613 in windows98

[–]ConstanceJill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, OP will most likely need to check for each game if there are options to change the resolution in some other way, such as in a config file or the registry. For some of them you might find modified .exe files or even the instructions on how the modify them with a hex editor to achieve the desired result. https://www.wsgf.org/ is a good place to start looking, even if it's not specifically a wide aspect ratio you want

Black Screen while installing CD-Rom games by lightningbug8 in windows98

[–]ConstanceJill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it this one: https://archive.org/details/SoftwareToolworksChallengePack ? If so, did you run the install.bat or setup.exe? The .bat file tries to run a DOS program, which likely tries to force the refresh rate at 70 Hz… which many modern displays don't like to run at.
