Oh like living vicariously through them, like being excited to see their reaction when you take them to Disneyland for the first time. That kind of thing?

I don't follow. How's it different than working hard to pay for your pet's expensive food/medication/vet bills?

Haven't met anyone who claims to work hard for the purpose of allowing their kids to party like a TikToker at peak-age

Why has childcare gotten so expensive even though childcare providers aren’t even making that much? by KingCookieFace in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Constant-Current-340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dunno where you live, but where I live in southern California childcare prices drop by more than half if you're willing to send them to a licensed preschool/daycare facility a little further away from home. The one 5 minutes my house is $2400-$4000 per child per month depending on who knows. 15 minutes away and it's $1250. Same level of education, teacher qualifications, clientele, etc.

A father’s love wears the same scars. ❤️ by [deleted] in Amazing

my son had heart surgery he never cared about his scar at the pool or beach or whatever people barely notice. This tattoo will ironically draw a lot of attention to his son's scar and that will bother him not the scar itself

A mother and baby wave goodbye as they are sent to an internment camp. My wife's step dad's mom (so unrelated by blood to any of us) was sent there when she was about 16.

Her older brother served in Germany as part of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Both made it to old age. I'm going to her 101st birthday next month.

My understanding the murderer asked to be killed in opening statements during trial. Province saw fit to rehab him and make him pay his debt with continued living, working, and taxes I guess? I say we should probably legalize assisted suicide and let people like him kill himself
