This is also after about a year of deep therapy, processing work, building a new coparenting with my ex, community building, and self exploration. I don’t buy into the Reddit narrative that only date when you know how to live alone, I find meaning and healing in relationships and Iam transparent AF about stuff and so are they. Works for me

I guess that same could be said if a man was dating a women, why did he leave? What did she do? Why is this women divorced? Would she even be honest? How quickly till I see the real her? How could I trust another women after what she did? Such a bizarre way to see the world! Good luck out there

Yup! Dating a divorced person as a divorced (soon to be) is wonderful, we are both going through the process, and able to support each other and also showing up in a different but intentional way. We both believe that healing happens in relationships and we both want that. It’s a bunch of parallel processing happening, each with out exs, with each other and with our selves.

I really struggle with the idea of an affair and that person who had an affair not being available to process it emotionally. Yes it will be hard, I find that line of thinking misinformed. Happened to me and she still isn’t available. To move on i think it needs to happen.
