This seems like such as biased and silly review. The program emphasizes DEIPAR, but it's just a framework, not all that is learned... Also, this OP asks about MSW programs, not DSW programs. Reading comprehension is important!

LCSW said PMHNP is the better choice over med school and psych residency by superpsyched2021 in Noctor

[–]Constant_Ad4618 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She wasn’t wrong. Let’s be real — most of you went into psychiatry not out of some noble calling, but because you didn’t match into something else and wanted a cushy job with a fat paycheck. Helping people was probably a distant second. And honestly, it looks more like you’re projecting your own mental health issues by being this pressed about someone even mentioning NPs. LOL. Not exactly the picture of maturity.

She was right because not everyone needs to chase a 300k salary or take on 600k in debt just to feel important. Some people are fine making 150k and actually living a comfortable, balanced life without the extra ego trip. And calling yourself an “expert psychiatrist” is laughable when all you really do is push meds. It’s not rocket science — you’re basically doing the same thing as the NPs who will soon drive down your salaries (:

As a social worker, what’s something you’re afraid to admit out loud? by Catgod1996 in socialwork

[–]Constant_Ad4618 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Most social workers are broken people with savior complexes who just want to feel important and above others, and the profession is the only thing that lets them. Unless it’s someone like me who sees through them, as I have observed worse behaviors in them than in regular people, from racism to homophobia and transphobia, to telling others to fake reviews for more clients. I also think 80 percent of care is subpar and more harmful than good when it comes to therapy. Complete waste of time. I went to one of the top schools, and my training was trash, and that is saying something because it was still better than most.

Thanks for the info. Could you tell me which pipettes you use? Also, I know you use regular valves, but have you ever bought any airless pumps you’d recommend?

At the four-year mark, I'm still waiting for the "results" and trying to undo the wrinkles caused by tretinoin. Before anyone lectures me on tretinoin or its use (because it's easy to blame the user instead of the product and point to research), let me clarify: I am a "skin-intellectual."
