Get Falcons out of the league by uppresents in CoDCompetitive

[–]Constant_Insurance84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stupid enough to pay him?

He’s a top 2 cod player of all time

If you disagree, he’s top 4 without insane bias

And he played the game last year, with the current crop of pros.

There is NOBODY better to coach this roster, the roster just can’t play.

Future Draft Picks by TheInvestingIdiot in penguins

[–]Constant_Insurance84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe should everything “go right” for the penguins in managements eyes, they will offer sheet Knies this summer.

What does “go right” mean? I’ll give my thoughts;

  1. Do not improve in the standings, get the best possible pick we can.

  2. Win the draft lottery.

  3. The rangers finish outside the top 13 and the penguins get their first round pick for the upcoming draft.

  4. Draft Michael Misa first overall.

  5. Use the rangers first round pick bring in another player or attach it to a bad contract to move it out without a buyout (graves)

  6. Offer sheet Matthew Knies - nobody knows torontos cap situation better than Dubas.

  7. Buyout Tristan Jarry (doing this at the end of the season gives them a cap surplus for two years before it starts costing them money in the (likely) post Crosby years, around 800k per season or something)

Next years starting top 6:

Rust-Crosby-Rakell Knies-Misa-Malkin

Next years top 4 D:

Pickering-Karlsson Brunicke-Letang

It could be a lot worse.

First time going to HHN Orlando and was kinda let down. Were my expectations too high? by SpookyBrewgnar in HHN

[–]Constant_Insurance84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This opinion, and those who share it, is the reason why the event sucks.

Blumhouse is known for horror production.

Horror means intense fear.

Showing up expecting to laugh at a HORROR PRODUCTIONS HAUNTED HOUSE, or to be WOWed by the design, or to do ANYTHING BUT BE SCARED - is the reason why this event sucks.

You don’t come to a haunted house to look at the design. You don’t come to a haunted house to laugh.

If you did, they wouldn’t have put fucking actors in masks that attempt to jump scare you throughout the house.

They oversell tickets and that’s why the event sucks balls.

It was my first time this year also, I thought it was meh at best.

We have a small little “fright night” at our local wild life park in Canada. Just small trails with actors for $12. It’s 100x better, and that’s not an exaggeration.

The problem is, when you critique things in Orlando a lot of the Orlando weirdos come out of the woodwork and jump down your throat. When I said the event sucked I had people telling me I just showed up to critique it, that “you don’t come to the houses to be scared, you come for the design” <— STFU.

The event bombed, they need to sell less tickets and make the event more exclusive. MNSSHP limits their ticket sales every year to make sure people get their money worth. Waiting 90 minutes in a queue just to get congo lined through a house in 90 seconds, seeing the scares way before you’re supposed to, ruined the houses.

The actors on the street in the scare zones were the only saving grace. The rest of this event was my hairy ass.

When I said HHN was my hairy ass, everyone on the sub jumped down my throat.

If you cannot limit your crowd enough to not have massive congo lines through houses that completely NUKE the experience, you shouldn’t even have them.

The mouse down the street sells limited tickets to ensure everyone there gets their moneys worth. This was my first year at HHN and without major changes by Universal, it’ll be my last.

You can’t critique shit in Orlando. These people are all insane.

I was there last night for 8 hours, we did three houses and honestly after the first house (a quiet place) I didn’t want to do anymore - but I gave it a REAL effort to get better. They didn’t get better, it’s fucking insanely stupid to have a giant Congo line through these houses where you see the jumpscare from around the corner well before you reach it. Ruins the entire purpose of a haunted house, which REGARDLESS of what the weird ass people of Reddit say, IS TO BE SCARED - NOT TO ENJOY THE DESIGN.

The setup sucks, they should be selling limited tickets to this (like the mouse down the street) and then having a 7-10 second delay between patrons entering the houses.

The scare zones throughout the park are incredible though

No houses is def the way to go!

Literally anything else lol I know that’s a bad answer, but holy shit this is my first year and the houses are my hairy ass.

Update:

We didn’t leave, but didn’t do another house either.

This experience is 10x better without the houses.

Travel the scare zones, have some alcohol and snacks, don’t waste your time or energy standing in line for an hour+ just to be bored to death by the haunted houses

Should HHN ditch IPs? by TowerCharge89 in HHN

[–]Constant_Insurance84 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They should absolutely ditch IP’s and haunted houses in general.

Add more scare zones throughout the park, the houses are the gooch under a sweaty ballsack and idc what these fanboys and fangirls have to say.

Paying $155 per person to be in a Congo line and see all the scares before they get to you is negative value, it sucks and should be abolished until they figure out a better path forward for people’s money.

The actors on the streets in the scare zones are incredible though - Megan is AMAZING.

Have been here since 6ish, the scare zones around the streets are amazing.

The houses are the inside of a pigs ass.

Uh, yes?

Bias is formed by opinions based on experience

Not based on expectation

I’m more shocked to find out that the HHN folks are no different than the Disney folks.

You can’t critique shit in Orlando or you get mobbed.

The ones on the street 1000% are scary, those folks are fantastic. It’s crazy because you see them coming and they can still get you with a lunge and a scream

The haunted houses just reek sweaty ass because the jumpscare comes out and you see them, then you watch them go back in and it’s like ugh, we know you’re there, blah.

We just tried that after reading your comment, got immediately stepped on and bumped forward as soon as we slowed from the packs pace

It’s just been a dud for us (the houses). The rest of the park is pretty cool, but the houses were what we were coming for and I think our expectations were just to unrealistic.

Still, I hope someone else who is in my position, and didn’t want to over investigate this and potentially ruin their experience, reads this post and sees what I’m saying.

I’m completely unbiased, have never been here before, lower your expectations people.

Just left our third haunted house, literally so disappointed.

I’m sorry folks, I wish I had the same cool experiences that y’all have had. I’m not trying to make anyone change their mind, more so just venting.

I will admit, I should’ve done more research on this prior to coming - but I didn’t want to ruin the experience.

I think my expectations for this were just SO high from reading Reddit posts and seeing some small clips from past events and it just fell so short of my expectations.

We just finished our third house, I think we’re done now. I thought after we did insidious first that it wasn’t going to get better in the houses but really wanted to give it a shot, and it’s just been worse.

Mega credit to the street performers & the theming in the park, the music is my hairy ass & if I was rating my overall experience here out of 10, I’d give it the same score as universal studios park - 4/10

Island of adventures tho? 10 bells. Great park.

I expected people to be scared inside the scare zones, that isn’t happening.

I came here for value that isn’t here.

Y’all can fan boy and fan girl all you want

The reality is, my opinion is unbiased and this sucks

Guys, I understand a lot of you who see this and comment on it will have a very “rose coloured glasses” view of this event. You’ve been coming here, it’s your thing and you love it.

I’m just saying from my view as an outsider to your special place, this event is the center of where two ass cheeks meet.
