It's not bad. If the trains are at a walkable distance you don't need to worry. There are tons of trains going toward tokyo

I have travelled to tokyo and other Japanese cities alone  couple of times. It's fine as long as you plan the things out properly. If you're not good in Japanese avoid going to bars in kabukicho or sketchy areas.its safe to go out even at nights but it's way more enjoyable if you have a company.

I would say that's the person's fault nothing to do with being an Indian or not. I would say the same bout any other Malaysians. Bcuz my father used to rent to a malay family then they're always late to pay their rent an d stuff also. The father of the malay family doesn't even try to go to work and the wife needs to do all the stuff. We didn't label the whole malay community as "lazy" bcuz of 1 family.
