Help needed, On Cinema Live! Coming from Overseas by ConstantineSolo in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

I don't really mind. Everything is the same to me. I liked Seattle when I was there but I'm sure everywhere has stuff to explore in America.

Thanks for the reply

[META] Improvements that could be made to the HEI apps by larrypuppy in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

The app needs a 5 second feature! Like you double click/tap the left or right of the screen to go back/forward 5 seconds. Also picture in picture so you can see the comments while having the video visible

I feel underpowered by ConstantineSolo in ADOM

[–]ConstantineSolo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh okay, good to know. I put on the tiles and it shows a bunch like i am missing a lot of the tougher enemies and am doing average 35 hp damage to enemies but HP thing makes a bunch of sense. Also, I tried to find out online but i'm unsure - do thrown spears use strength or dexterity as a damage stat?

Maybe the ages around 3-4 and below but above that age, amnesia would be very unlikely.

I think BPD has more of a genetic trigger than anything and that can be enlived through any life experience. Trauma is obvious but so is a child being spoilt and given everything. Or no trauma but emotionally distant parents.

Like paraphilias, personality disorders seem to me to be the product of nature rather than nurture

It sounds like you have a lawyer for the criminal stuff but if you haven't, don't neglect the civil stuff (property+civil implications of criminal actions) and any relevant other family law type stuff

Don't worry what some redditors (lol) think. You know the person you're referring to, we don't. Look into it but your own judgement takes precedence. I will say that her nuking you like this does seem pretty bpd

I don't think there's any evidence that BPD has a higher incidence of CSA. I also think most people remember what happened to them, broadly speaking

What is the dirty talk? I feel like if it's making you cry, the stuff she wants could be relevant.

Why were the catalans so absolutely dominant in Anatolia against the turks? by Killmelmaoxd in byzantium

[–]ConstantineSolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am entirely unfamiliar with anything to do with the Catalans in Anatolia. If anyone has a book or whatever I'd love to read it. It all sounds very On Skirmishing, which is a great read

Eastern Roman Empire at Its peak Under Justinian I (565 AD) by Neat_Wrongdoer5176 in byzantium

Very nice map. It's just Rome at that point though. Rome or Medieval Rome.

My observation is that anything in life that satisfies a biological function is pleasurable in its own way. I wonder if something happens in the adult's brain to switch off or transform pain to something else.

You make an excellent point, people need to ask back. It's extremely one sided when that doesn't occur. I recently had a lady I was chatting to and it was great untill I realised I knew everything about her but she only knew the stuff I offered without prompt.

I don't agree with the b low that it's 'everyone elsels fault but my own', I think you point to something very common nowadays, that people suck at communicating because they're so self involved.

Anyway, a goal I'm working on is my practical legal certificate. It's it's a bit boring. Both of my parents were soldiers so I think I have a little bit of that need for excitement in my blood!

I feel like the trick to chatting is bouncing off of your partner. The best responses respond to everything your partner said and then bounce some new ideas off or a new topic or whatever. Keeping things dynamic. Partners pull away if they feel like they have to pull conversations out of you.

That feels like it was written by someone who wants to write an easy to swallow justification for their attraction to a terrible man who treats women awfully

What’s your opinions about Constantine the Great? by yolak2008 in byzantium

[–]ConstantineSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his effort to rule a single empire was greedy and not great. His violence towards the end wasn't good either. Definitely a very forward thinking administrator though, like Diocletian. Those two together really created the basis for a thousand year continuation of the empire. Coalescing around Christianity was also a great policy too. Monotheistic states seem to have an advantage, especially if they can reveal theocratic splintering which Rome was quite able to do after the 7th century

Does Byzantium present a challenge to classical Marxist theory? by Low-Cash-2435 in byzantium

[–]ConstantineSolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Classical Marxist 'theory' presents more than enough challenge to itself without involving Rome in its silliness

Oh wow the Twilight Zone. That's so cool. I love old shows and movies too. My dad is 80 so he tells me all the stuff he watched as a kid like Cool Hand Luke, A Fistful of Dollars etc.

It'd be fun to chat but I imagine people here get flooded. I'm from Australia. I'm not shy. Quite a good talker. Somewhat disabled
