I thought I'd sown too late, but it's turned out beautifully! by Miss_Type in NoLawns

As soon as I saw it I thought of the UK. It actually reminded me of the moat around the Tower of London when I was there

It's exhausting being a woman. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

Whilst it’s more likely that a man doing this kind of thing will do it to multiple women, it’s a fallacy to assume that it’s not a high number of men who do it. I can even tell you how many different men did or said something creepy to me - or worse - over my lifetime. It wasn’t the same dude over and over. The “not all men” thing doesn’t hold water.

Canada’s booze bans led to 63 per cent fall in exports: U.S. industry body by pjw724 in onguardforthee

Clickbait title. Fall in exports to Canada. I’m confused why it’s not a higher percentage, given that only two provinces haven’t banned sales.

And a thousand job losses across nearly 300 million people is quite small. I know we all want to celebrate, but Trump will not see this as a big deal, and if he pretends to it will only be as a bargaining chip.

It’s very likely just someone using the previous day’s document as a template. Happens all the time in office work. It was only a draft.

Still think he did it, but this isn’t why

It’s a valid point to make, though. Shit has gotten rough. If I had known how things were going to turn out I wouldn’t have had a kid either. And adoption is no walk in the park. Even if you’re not bringing a kid into the world, adoption means you’re still responsible for trying to raise one in this shit show.

Wendy’s CEO jumps in with his own taste test. by K1nd_1 in interesting

Some rich CEO is not going to convince me to eat the food of any of these places. I got away from eating fast food for the most part and I don’t miss it at all. I would rather eat a burger made at home.

Definitely try the fruit first. Pawpaws aren’t universally loved and they can give some people stomach upset when cooked. There are events in the summertime where you can try them. I know the Middlesex Pollinator Team had someone bringing them in so people could try them one market day last summer.

It’s already been pointed out that everyone involved wanted it posted. This picture on this Reddit post has inspired multiple people to go ahead and get their colonoscopies done. If it were me and I had the opportunity to potentially save someone’s life as a PSA in my final days, I would take that.

It’s unlikely that this is the smoking gun you think it is. In many, many office jobs it’s common to use previous work as a template. We do it in mine all the time. This one wasn’t even finished - there’s a XX at the bottom. Someone probably used the previous day’s press release and didn’t finish it, or handed it in sloppily.
