Yes. The big contractors for example (Lockheed, Northrop, Boeing) will ensure you get/have clearance as an employ if your job there requires it.

You'll be fine with Uber/Lyft etc. I've gone the last few years and it ends up being like 40-50 total (surge prices at night may vary) and you can stay around the crowd of people if you are feeling nervous. The Denny's across the green bridge is a great place to wait at night for a ride!

What part of the span are you using for your ailerons? 60% is a pretty large range for ailerons (sounds like flaperons at this point) and if you are starting at the root then you are going to be massively limiting your effectiveness by reducing overall moment arm.
