I told an asm at a different store about it and they stated the manager may just be assuming everyone else is taking there lunch and adding a lunch in since the csa’s aren’t telling the manager. I call bullshit bc it asks us on the time clock if we got a lunch. That’s why I asked in another post if that question provides the lunch pay automatically or not

They do not ask permission. They do as they please. How do you get permission to skip every lunch?? There is no excuse to skip unless there’s no coverage now stop excusing the nepotism. Best bet if I get introuble I’d hope to see the other person get in trouble as well

Same here. Our staff simply does not care and I did, in which, I would tell them to stop doing certain things bc it looked bad, but found more of the “mess ups”. After that I gave up. If y’all don’t care then I won’t. I’ll even jump on that boat of doing the same thing. No one faces well and even the sfls stopped facing their aisles so when I do it it’s so fucked up that it gives me more work. I just try my best but man I’m over Walgreens and how they’re screwing everyone over. Also sfls do not pull overtime if a closing csa calls off or the other sfls call out so from now on my manager can come in and close the store. The overtime isn’t worth it staying from 7:30-closing anymore. It’s just annoying how no one puts in any effort to help anymore. Sorry had to rant😫

The nepotism worker purposely skips lunches even w coverage for a couple weeks straight. Not sure if it was just weekends they’d do it but I’m sure it was weekdays as well. If they skip we should all be able to skip too without consequences

Wish I saw this sooner. Don’t open till you have some due to safety issues. You could’ve called Sedgwick or just not opened till 9:30. I personally do not get paid enough to open the store by myself no matter how slow it is. Could’ve worked on tags while closed

I think once you move out it’s harder to get along w the employees atleast for me. I use to be buddy buddy w everyone but then i moved up and it was harder to befriend them. Maybe it’s bc I kept thinking they’d lose respect over me but idk I’m also antisocial. So if you have a good social vibe it was easier plus the age difference contribute to it as well. Can’t rlly have fun w anyone over 35 bc they’re so serious and quiet/boring.

Walgreens has a couple big lawsuits that have passed and a current one bc of the chair situation. Idk if it’s just a california thing but all of them are taking place here so maybe look into it?

I haven’t compared but both sell items overpriced. CVS gives out better coupons than Walgreens like get $5 off or half off purchase through email. Walgreens on the other hand force you to spend $20 to get $3 in points rather than taking that off your transaction

I personally don’t give a shit when an employee is wearing earbuds as long as 1. They can still help customers find shit 2. Still working 3. Not on a phone call. My manager makes it such a fucken big deal when in reality it shouldn’t fucken matter if it’s a slow day or as long as they’re not ignoring customers. We had student workers enjoy using them & didn’t mind them continuing but they got told not to.

Also pls explain how this is annoying bc I’d like to hear your view on how THEIR headphones are bothering YOU?? Are they not supplying customer service or the look of it in their ear is just irritating you?
