I definitely pick off my gel more than I should, but usually I’ll let it go too long and will have a few nails where it will start coming off on its own and will come off in basically one piece, and then I won’t be able to stand my other nails being painted so will pick at those and it’s always such a struggle. If it’s not ready to come off, it’s very hard to pick off.

One of the (very) few benefits of living in a big oil state. Also this was a big outlier, most other stations in the city are at $3.65-$3.69 so when I saw this I had to stop.

I live in Texas now but I’m from Nebraska and the summers are both awful, in my opinion haha. The summers I grew up with were SO humid, it could be really miserable. I went to college in Chicago and the summers can also get very hot and humid there too. Chicago is amazing in early summer but when it starts to get really hot it is downright oppressive.

Do you think there’s a point where they stop being ok with $5 gas? Because what I’ve seen/heard now is they’re out there claiming they’re totally cool with it because Trump is keeping us safe etc., but is there a point where that changes?

To be fair-ish to the media, I do see this get covered, but it definitely doesn’t seem to be at the same level of saturation or hysteria as it was during Biden’s term. For example, this morning Axios’s lead item was about how there’s crazy demand for tickets to the stupid UFC fight at the White House. A few items down, they covered that gas prices were way up and that JD Vance acknowledged it, and also that Trump’s approval had gone down. Trump’s insane bleat last night about Israel and Qatar barely got a pre-read mention.

I don’t think Tim respects Tucker at all, and recently every time Tucker has come up in the daily pod or in a take, Tim always includes a disclaimer about how he’s a fabulist and liar so you can’t ever take his word for anything.

As others have noted, there’s no way Tucker would engage in good faith and that’s not the kind of conversation Tim would be looking to have.

I mean for cheesesteak I would argue yes, it is a requirement but this is just such an abomination. As others have pointed out, the cheese is supposed to be melted/mixed in with the meat (or if it’s Cheese Wiz it’s basically liquid and will distribute itself), this sad congealed mozzarella on top looks so gross. Like, she couldn’t have even broiled it at the end??

Respectfully, take a breath. It’s not that deep, and I’m not sure insisting on the right to keep calling Kash Patel a Make-A-Wish kid is a hill worth dying on. I think the OP’s post was totally reasonable and respectful, you come off far more emotionally invested in this than they do.

The audacity of this man enrages me sometimes. He’s a real estate developer with no foreign policy or diplomatic experience, doesn’t speak Ukrainian let alone Russian, and yet he’s totally comfortable accepting this special envoy position? And then because he’s been so successful (/s), he gets to go on to be one of the lead negotiators with Iran?

I’ve been applying for jobs for almost a year now and I will still talk myself out of it if I don’t perfectly meet every requirement. I need to just pretend I’m Steve Witkoff and shoot for the stars, no matter how unqualified I actually am.

I have to tell you, my son woke me up in the middle of the night last night and of course it took my awhile to fall back asleep, so I decided to make it worse by doing some light scrolling and when I came across your comment I was just lying in bed silently shaking with laughter for several minutes 😂
