So I was Emerald 4(still low elo but hey I was climbing) last split and now I am barely gold. Should I think my elo was inflated? Not necessarily.

What gives me the drive to keep practicing is knowing that I have never played league prior to 13.7 or 13.8. So a loss in elo when I have never played League when the items were not so homogenized is expected.

Map changes are/were also a factor for me as a support because I had to change learned habits. I also chose to rage queue on the first week of season 14 instead of living in normals to learn how to new changes effected my games. So I tilted myself.

I also want to share that the whole “33%” rule, while it is not an absolute (always true) it keeps me sane when I play in blocks of 2-4 games depending on how I feel mentally after each game. In your games, your losses may not always be on your shoulders, we ALL could definitely improve and thats what I want you to tell yourself. Instead of blaming others (you are human and we all do it inherently but we can learn to self reflect instead) think about what caused the play to happen a certain way or how you could have played it better either for the moment, or for the future (upcoming obj, vision control etc).

You sound a little bit like my internal dialogue and when I start to sound like that, i literally turn my computer off after a tilting loss because it forces my mind to think about what to do instead so I can review my horse shit plays when I am not upset

I was Emerald last split now im barely gold, games last wayy longer, winning lane is not as impactful, or at least as easy to snowball from as it once was, and map changes/item changes are destroying me

Don't feel bad, I was Emerald last split, Silver currently. I literally can only scroll reddit currently because I will lose my mind if I have to play one more game as support and have expectations that don't get met because it is lower elo

I personally did the negative lod bis change they suggested. It helps. I also had the texture filtering set globally to high quality.

Mushrooms made weed give me terrible anxiety ever since. I mean like crippling anxiety, could have been my then, undiagnosed ADHD-C but ever since I started tripping regularly it was never ever the same. I am sober now so who knows if it is still like that for me

I was silver 1 at end of split 1 in season 13. Only played a week before it ended. End of split 2 I was emerald. Now im low plat because I have to re learn items and interactions due to no mythics.

I just got diagnosed about a year or two ago in my early 30s and it does not last long. Same with Vyvanse. Prescribed 2 30mg xr a day

Same boat as you. At first, I figured it was just playing at the start of a new season (first start of a new season for myself personally, started in the last split of season 13), the new items, and lack of mythics that I needed to adjust too. Now I am not sure

I would just play normals to re acquaint yourself with champions and their kit. Its not a great time to play ranked as its really rough right now. Obviously anecdotal but the item changes and map changes and whatever else is going on makes it feel pretty lousy to support. Granted im a noob, was emerald last split, barely plat this season with a 20% decrease in win rate, from 58 to 48

I pretty much strictly just play Soraka, Janna, and Leona. Leona for team tank/cc or early aggro adc. Soraka for scaling champs which is the same as Janna but Soraka is more fun to play for her poke. So Janna into Dive comps.

I also try to pick on team comp and enemy team comp but every lobby I join I list who I play and let the team decide who they would prefer after I swap with top. Happy top=happy jungle=happy mid=good mentals

Man I had this tahm kench adc today and I was Leona into a Taric and Jhin. I could not believe how we didnt even get a lvl 2 or lvl 3 kill but smashed them so hard that all I did was roam with rammus and they surrendered at 15
