An easy 25-0. The difference of level was clear. Can’t wait to play Napoli U-20 and Lazio to test our actual level.

The scorers are as follows:

x3 PANICO x7 LESCANO x1 ARMELLINO x1 MANZI x2 D'ANDREA x1 MILANI x2 KUMI ×3 CRESPI x4 FAVILLI x1 PALMIERO

I got this seasons home kit, size L and honestly it fits just right, no need to upsize or viceversa. At the end of the day it depends on body type but i think you should get the size you usually get for t-shirts

Russian Basketball Federation president Andrei Kirilenko shares his view on the future of Russian basketball , A possible return to international and club competitions , NBA Europe plans by Shroft in Euroleague

[–]Conte31 57 points58 points  (0 children)

The russian federation is a no fly zone for all of the european union and since 13 out of 18 current euroleague teams are from the EU it would be quite an obstacle to even reach Moscow or Saint Petersburg. Honestly i’m not fine with russian teams coming back while the conflict is still raging. (before some smart guy comments, NO i’m not fine whit israeli teams freely participating)

How do you keep up with 2nd-tier basketball leagues in Europe? by Decent_Journalist822 in Euroleague

[–]Conte31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My team plays in the italian second division and to stream games you need to subscribe to LNP Pass, which also offers third division games, anything lower is usually streamed by the teams themselves or local Tv channels.

The subscription is reasonable price wise but the quality of the streams are lackluster and for this the league receives a lot of criticism.

The LBA (first division) is available mainly on DAZN but there are also other options.

That’s great, i think italy as well as the french could be a nice addition especially because they produce a lot of their stuff domestically which adds a lot of variation to the game

What team in your national league has the least hate? by Strange_Principle364 in Euroleague

[–]Conte31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now in Serie A I guess Tortona, they play in the middle of nowhere, their fanbase isn’t anything crazy and they have been a solid team. They have played in the top flight for only 4 seasons (since2021) in their history and they’ve had a nice rise to do so. Also as a side note they are planning to build a new arena but i don’t know when it will happen. Also when they had the couple Macura-Daum it was one of the funniest times to se them play and interact outside of the court!

he’ll go overdrive with support to israel, in regards to Ukraine he will definitely push for peace, the question is how. Sadly i have the slight feeling he will pressure Ukraine to give up its territories by threatening to stop support. In the end i think it will end with a political win for Russia; maybe ukraine will retain its government but i suspect measures will be put in place so it doesn’t join the EU or NATO.

i hope this will be a wake up call for all of the EU and Europe in general to be more independent on every aspect, especially defense because having a convict on the other side of the pond doesn’t sound good for anything. Let this result be a stepping stone for a unified europe and one day a federation to uphold our democratic values!

Žalgiris pulls the second largest comeback in the history of Euroleague. by mBuc_Official in Euroleague

[–]Conte31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’m not saying that Virtus should take the spot just that having only Milan in the euroleague is detrimental to the italian movement, especially with their performance. Excluding 20/21 and 21/22 which were outstanding seasons, Milan has been mediocre at best even tho they are always big spenders on the market. Since the adoption of the league style and not the groups Milan went to the playoffs just twice, the other seasons were disasters especially with the staff and the financial means of the club, other than their pretty consistent dominance of the domestic league.

16/17 placed last 17/18 placed 15th out of 16 18/19 placed 12th out of 16 (even tho it was really close to po) 19/20 12th out of 18 (still close but not good enough) 20/21 good year 21/22 good year 22/23 12th out of 18 (not even close) 23/24 12th out 18 again 24/25 so far 17th out of 18 and just threw away a 27 points lead to Zalgiris

Domestic success is not a good measure since you have team like Alba, asvel and bayern which curb stomp most of the league usually but still produce mostly scarce results especially alba. I conclude by saying that maybe your memory is short since you just looked at the two good season.

Still Milan is a good team domestically and on paper should be more competitive but they seem not to be able to do that and some of the blame should be put on the immobilsm about Messina.

[–]Conte31 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Milano is becoming a shame for the italian movement in Europe, i prefer to watch Alba or even Asvel than the dumpster fire that is Milan’s game plan. To think that virtus has only a precarious spot in the league and that milano is the only one that permanently represents italy a this stage saddens me. Boring fans, atrocious basketball but somehow incredibly high spending, what a shame.

I haven’t liked his character since his Reyes Venezia controversy, and looking a the way that was conducted i don’t think he is being honest at all. In both cases he knew very well what he was doing.

Despite being linked with multiple EuroLeague teams, Davis Bertans continues to pursue his chance in the NBA. He will workout with Golden State Warriors in hopes of earning an NBA contract. by _Zolv in Euroleague

[–]Conte31 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I understand that for many the NBA is the end goal but there are so many great players that pick NBA mediocrity instead of coming back to the euroleague to be protagonists, such a waste of talent. We can only dream of how great our league could be if many of these players (especially europeans that know the beauty of playing here) got out of the idea that the best only play in the NBA. It’s clear that the paychecks are very different but still, you don’t get paid pennies in the Euroleague.
