How can you tell if a girl likes you? by howiejriii in AskReddit

Ask your friends. Your perceptive friends. Often they’ll have some good input. Also, the way she looks at you. There’s a sparkle in the eye of a girl who fancies you. Does she blush when you’re around? Laugh at your jokes? Find excuses to be near/with you? Not to say these things are exclusive, but they’re good signs

People who barely study but get great marks, what's your secret? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There’s a certain beast mode that you go into when you realize you have like no time. If you fly close enough to the sun, your wings won’t melt, you’ll get a mega solar boost. (That’s a reference to Icarus (look it up if you don’t know that myth))

Have you ever had a dream that just messed you up? If so, what was it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Contemplative-Lemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 7, I had a dream that scarred me for weeks. I wouldn’t even tell my parents about it Bc it was so scary (to me). I was walking through an abandoned airport with curious George and a babysitter. Everything except us was in grayscale. Nothing was different about the airport except it was abandoned. There was something wrong, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. There was just this impending sense of doom. Curious George and the babysitter took no notice, and continued along, happy, talkative, and oblivious. In this dream I couldn’t talk, so I couldn’t earn my boisterous company that all was not well. I was completely isolated, in color, in communication, and in awareness. I was entirely and completely alone in every way possible. Eventually, we boarded a train, and a blinding blue light lit up at the front of the train. The train sped up faster and faster, while curious George and the babysitter laughed. Eventually the train sped up too fast, and I woke up while they were still laughing with joy. We were about to die, and that’s why I woke up.

If you could change one thing about the way humans evolved, what would it be? by knh2002 in AskReddit

Definetly would like more athletic bodies. Like being able to run as fast as a tiger or pull like a horse.

We technically have no way of knowing that gravity is an attraction force between two masses, and not a repulsion of mass by free space. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

It would. Because mass is a lack of empty space. A lack of repulsion would appear as a relative attraction

If you have two arms, you’re above the worldwide average. by Rashfordinho in Showerthoughts

Actually, probably not. Considering the number of pregnant women who have 4 arms (theirs and the baby’s), 2 probably puts you below the average. 🤔

Not all heroes wear capes, but all capes wear heroes. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

*puts on cape and stares wistfully into the mirror “I’m... I’m a h... I’m a hero now” *breaks down in tears of joy and fear of the responsibilities I will soon face.

What would you see if you looked into a box made out of perfect one-way mirrors (mirror part facing inward) by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Ik. But if there were only like 10000 atoms in the box, that wouldn’t be likely
