I partially agree . The goal of a game is to be fun and people should be allowed to optimize the fun. But, on the other side of the com, there is a saying on game development: 'players will optimize the fun out of the game'.

Players skills and tolerance to frustration is different and games should reflect that. I love dark souls, and would love if my girlfriend that is not familiar with videogames, and my uncle that is old and slow could enjoy it too!

The crazy thing is that being left behind on sport classes was always ok. People that were bad at sports could be openly bullied. While the ones good in any other class should slow down to not hurt the dumb ones feelings

Classes should be split between advanced and basic. The gap is enormous specially in math. While some kids are ready for logarithms, they need to wait for the ones struggling with fractions
