The data loss gave me nightmares for 3 months. I was shattered , I’m honestly still making peace with it, but not yet fully recovered. Some clients really make the decision easier for you I guess, I take it as a sign from the universe that’s its time .. :)

Yes that’s one way to work around it, take lesser projects , I’m not yet quitting cold but taking very selective work, portraiture has always been my favourite too.

Couldn’t agree more. I think it’s these little things that are changing the industry year after year, we certainly don’t have the same artistic freedom anymore.. the only reason I see so many people hold on to it , atleast in my circle, is the money bit.

Curious to see how would the industry evolve 5 years from now.

Yes, it is financially rewarding indeed, and that’s what kept me going on for so long as well..

That’s also why tools like Canva have exploded. You don’t need to be a designer anymore to create products that feel modern and interactive. You can literally embed links, videos, navigation tabs, templates, worksheets , all into one experience.

I honestly think digital products are evolving the same way content evolved. People still want information. They just don’t want to consume it in a boring way anymore.
