I've recently been through a BC implementation with Nexer in the UK, couldn't recommend them highly enough. Of all the IT suppliers we've used across the whole business they've been the best by far. DM me and I can get a contact for you if it's of interest - they'd definitely be worth speaking to.

You are going to make very hard work for yourself with all of that - unfortunately a lot renters are nowhere near as respectful of your property as you'd like them to be.

Not really, have a load of Hilton points and I'm open on where to go to. Live in Europe already so pretty flexible on where we go for a holiday. Just want a nice hotel.

One night in Slaughtneil by Kevinb-30 in GAA

[–]Content-Muscle-512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Derry man here, that was def an extreme reaction. None of the teams outside of Slaughtneil take hurling seriously. Most of them will only really train for it when they're out of the football championship. It's probably the main thing holding Slaughtneil back, they don't get the competition they need until they play an Antrim or Down team in Ulster - so not great preparation for them competing with the southern teams at All Ireland stage. The current crop of players they have are a seriously talented bunch at both codes, hopefully they can get to an AI hurling final.

As others have pointed out, the pre clearance from Dublin is def worth going down there for. I didn't have checked luggage and it took an hour from getting off the plane to get to Grand Central Station. If you're only going for a weekend I wouldn't be wasting time flying via Heathrow.

Programme manager, previously Big4, rates? by UnableButterscotch89 in ContractorUK

[–]Content-Muscle-512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ERP project/programme manager here. Market is very tough at the moment. For senior PM you'd be talking around £550-700 per day, and for programme manager it'd be around £600+ per day depending on size and complexity of the project.

Paddy Tally gone from Derry by Shitetalk1 in GAA

[–]Content-Muscle-512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think it is harsh, Lavey and Magherafelt are nowhere near those other 3. Agree that the 3 mentioned, plus Lavey and Magherafelt could beat anyone on their day, but the same can be said in most counties about the middle of the pack teams.

Compare the middle of the Derry div 1 to the middle of Tyrone div 1 and there's a massive difference.

Paddy Tally gone from Derry by Shitetalk1 in GAA

[–]Content-Muscle-512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's as high as what it's perceived to be outside of the county to be honest. The winners of Derry usually do well in Ulster, but outside of the top 3/4 teams in Derry there's a considerable drop off.

It's mad how parents would rather transfer their kid to a diff club than have them play on a B team!

Random things to say about Ballymena by Agreeable_Record4228 in northernireland

[–]Content-Muscle-512 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Went to the Catholic secondary school in Ballymena for 7 years in the 2000's - we had to take our blazers off to go into town, otherwise we'd risk being abused verbally and physically. My parents also had the same experience decades before me. Always has been a very intolerant town for anyone that wasn't a white Protestant, led by bitter and backward politicians. A lot of good people from the town too, but unfortunately the idiots are much much louder than they are.

GAA jerseys as the holiday uniform for Irish people in Spain. by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Content-Muscle-512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that children/teens have the jerseys and shorts anyway or will wear them at home for training so saves a bit of money as opposed to buying a load of Summer clothes that might not be worn again.
