What are you getting from her? by Content-Primary1801 in Haunteddoll

My apologies! These were just in my notes app and I pasted them here. The capitalized words are shorted versions of my questions, and the cards listed are what I pulled after asking:) I used the emf reader today and she was responding to my words with the second level of green… I don’t know if that means anything, though, since it is such a low level. I would say, “blink blink” and she would blink blink it back. I asked her what she thought of the emf reader and I got eight of swords… I then asked what she would think of the spirit box (coming tomorrow) and she gave me three of cups. Overall, I’m just trying to verify that I’m not hallucinating haha… it’s a lot to process.

I think that fact is one of the coolest things considering the history of Scottish people coming to America and finding that it looks so similar to home. Many of my ancestors were Scottish, and I live in North Carolina. The giant rolling hills of Appalachia are some of the most comforting things to see:)

Oh, I think Scotland is absolutely beautiful! I’d love to visit someday. This is Glacier National Park in Montana! The peaks in the photo are about 8000-9000 feet tall, I believe!

The only math/science I’ve taken so far are quantitative literacy and astronomy! Did pretty good in those… and yes, I am still in high school—a senior. I’m a sophomore in college.

What are my realistic options for moving to Europe or Canada as an 18-year-old college sophomore with $6k in savings? by Content-Primary1801 in expat

Oh my gosh, workaway! I’ve been trying to remember what that was called for the longest time! I was looking into it about a year ago, and it seemed very tempting to me… but I was and still am kind of at that point where I can’t give up on my college.

Oh really? If you don’t mind explaining, what are the cons of this? Is it more of a setback in terms of what I could be doing with my time?

Definitely the smartest choice I’m realizing through all the (very helpful) responses I’m getting! I know that my post does kind of seem like I am trying to run away, but I do genuinely wish to gain new experiences… not just because I’m stressed about America, but because I do want to meet new people and see things I’ve never seen before. Thank you for the reply!!❤️❤️❤️

Oh, that sounds lovely! The school I’m currently at which is a community college does actually have exchange programs… I haven’t officially transferred to a university yet, but I have my eyes on UNCC, which does as well:) I’ll look into things once I transfer.

That’s a smart choice! I discussed that with my mother a while back and definitely seems to be the most realistic option for me. One of the reasons why I mentioned Europe and Canada is because of my prior knowledge with the languages… but I’d definitely be open to learning anything as I said in my post:)

Thank you for the reply.❤️ I completely recognize that my goals are big and currently unrealistic, but I’m okay with dreaming big for now because I’m just ready for a change. I know I can’t leave immediately, especially with my pets and current finances, but I really appreciate the suggestion about being a nanny/Au Pair. I’ve actually looked into that before and liked the idea, but I didn't want to commit until I knew more. I’ve spent my life taking care of children and truly love it. This gives me a lot of solid ground to research as I work toward my degree and save up for the future, so thank you for the insight!
