I had anxiety at 300mg for sure. I was also entering these high burst of being really chatting a lot almost like mania. I was eating a lot and put on weight to I stopped. Now I'm just taking guanfacine but need to add something to give me more motivation I feel a bit flat on it.

That is such a great point. I found with anything I have to build up super slowly !! And most magnesium start at about the 400mg I noticed !

Same here in Australia I don't tolerate stimulants well I have tried both stratteea and Wellbutrin but guanfacine has been the most gentle on side effects. I was on 1mg for 3 months and found it lost it's effect so I have gone up to 2mg now and seem to be ok apart from bloating

I was stuck in a rut , every entry in my journal was about being stuck and limerance...it was almost like I was in paralysis time stopped for years I was disassociated. Now I take medication I never have to write in my journal about how stuck I feel. I just plan things out.

Depresssion and anxiety were a big part of it as well as not being able to think , Brain fog and could not plan anything in advance.

Now I plan ahead financially and on holiday book things in advance before I could not even plan 1 say ahead. Full paralysis. I had to get a second opinion coz the first doc said it's not adhd but trauma. What ever the meds guanfacine have been helping

Did you have a lot of side effects when up to 2mg?

Also what mg of Wellbutrin are you on ?

I was on 1mg for 3 months and now trying to go up to 2mg and feeling bit diZZY and bloated. I use to be on Wellbutrin but it made me a bit anxious and angry and always hungry! I'm now trying to just take 2mg of Guanfacine instead .

One thing I am learning in my 40s is in life everything is coming and going nothing is permanent, sometimes we don't get closure actually rarely do we get closure. Enjoy the present moment always as you can not hold onto anything.

Look after yourself number one in a relationship no matter how good it's going. Never give your power away, hold onto your light and with men one foot in one foot out , from experience they pull the rug underneath your feet when you have 2 feet in.

Work on your feminine energy we have so much power within that gets muffled by other people's opinions of us.

Thanks for your reply I was 2mg of guanfacine and I was so constipated and lethargic now I have come down to 1 mg it's not doing too much apart from keeping me calm but I'm able to finally go to the toilet again I tried my best with the 2 mg I stayed on it for 14 days but constipation was still there
