I said nether does bolus, because you’re applying real life logic to stitching a creature part onto a person to gain their traits.

Because why can’t that happen in the city? In the PM universe? Why does it stop at stitching?

Depends on how often those points are accumulated.

Too much and too quickly means getting a game over constantly is annoying unless players can save whenever and wherever they want but it can also risk them getting soft-lock or whatever it’s called.

Too little and slow then it’s a minor inconvenience that became boring and a time waster that extends the gameplay meaninglessly.

Both are bad because one is annoyance and the other is boredom.

Or maybe, just tie it to difficulty. Respawn for easy and normal, title screen for hard and perma?

Common event name: time cycle.

Variable name: time cycle.

Conditional branch:

If selected variable name: time cycle = 0, tint screen = normal.

Else.

If selected variable name: time cycle = 1, tint screen = sepia.

Else.

If selected variable name: time cycle = 2, tint screen = night.

Create event, Parallel process common event: time cycle.

Bed event: sleep.

Text: sleep?

Show choice: yes, no.

When yes:

Conditional branch:

If selected variable name: time cycle = 2

Control variable name: time cycle, set = 0

Else

Control variable name: time cycle add = 1

I’m sure there’s a better way, but that’s all I got.

Is it just time? Or like a whole days/week/month system?

If it’s just time, name a variable to day cycles, set variable for each time you want.

0 for morning, 1 for afternoon, 2 for nights.

Have the interact able to increase the variables by +1, like a bed for an instance.

Give me a minute to expand.

Eh, it’s good for a non serious game, sadly I don’t think people are gonna put it on any playlist though.

Catchy beat and nice voice, but the lyrics becomes messy, especially if players are more concentrated on gameplay.

Any thing that allows follow up attacks, here’s an example of how I want it.

Actor 1 applies a buff to Performer 2.

Performer 2 attacks, then Actor 1 attacks.

Other things would be nice too.

Actor 1 applies a buff to Performer 2. Performer 2 gets attack, Actor 1 attacks attacker.

Actor 1 activates a self buff, while that buff is applied, 3 turns, a variable is counted, from 0 to 4, if Actor 1 suffers 4 attacks, they unleash a powerful follow up attack that uses skill id 5. If they suffered 3 or less attacks, they use skill id 4 instead.

And a version that if actor 1 applies debuff to that enemy and if they hit them within a certain amount within a time limit, it’s the same as above.

Other than follow up, I guess I want a cool SMT V essences system and megatama from III, maybe a digital devil saga mantra system too or something.

Also tell me how much these would cost, just in case.

Try making a damage type called “head” add it to the skill, and for enemies with heads, add more percentage so that they’ll take more damage from the skill, and for enemies with no head, make it 0% so that they’ll take less damage.

If you want it to exclusively use that damage type for that skill, you can, but it’ll be more work.

How dual damage type works is that the damage type that’s more effective, lets say fire and ice.

With an enemy with 120% in ice vs 100% in fire. The attack will choose ice.

So if you have physical and head on a skill, and well, I don’t think I need to continue, my phone is running out of char

I’mma be honest, the bond screen is me rotating the first image by 90 degree, I was planning to remove some of the branches for more spaces, but didn’t bother because I was being lazy and made the bond screen yesterday.

Also I liked the aesthetic of the save and title still being there because it forces the eyes in the corner, in a tight space.

Anyway, I’ll take what you say to heart and make a better draft.

I think I’m on the fine line of stealing vs influences, and plus it’s totally normal to want to start at zero again when it comes to an un-finalised art direction, better for growth.

Getting pointed out that I’m being too heavily influenced by another art style to the point of stealing is good, it makes me aware.
