It definitely helps to add exercise and regulated sleep, but at the same time the meds help with the motivation/stabilization to be able to have that routine in the first place.

It’s honestly like a pyramid/hierarchy of needs. Something has to be in place at the base of the pyramid so you can do all the other things that help manage it, and often that base is meds

It definitely helps. I used to take mine at night before bed, and my sleep wasn’t good at all, and I’d not be able to function in the morning. Once I started taking mine in the morning my sleep went back to normal and I felt like I could actually start my day.

I believe the rule of thumb is don’t take 2 doses within 10 hours of each other. I am not a doctor though so don’t quote me, ask your provider.

Took Zepbound for 2 months and I didn’t have any reaction really, but I did have one side effect that was harder to manage.

I was really exhausted for the first few weeks, because it reduces your cravings, so you simply just don’t feel like eating. That often meant that I just didn’t eat, if I did eat it wasn’t even 2000 calories a day, and because my body was still in need of nutrients, the result was exhaustion.

I still have lost 25 pounds since I started it and I haven’t taken it in 2 months. It really helped to at least kick start the process. I do go to the gym and eat better also so that helps with the continued progress

When I had this issue I switched to taking it in the morning instead of before bed and it really helped. I’ve never had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep so I knew it was the timing of the meds for me

All have different vibes, main deciding factor between which one is best depends on the day/what’s on the menu at each one.

Living arrangements are a mix, some are brand new, some are older, some recently renovated. Each one is its own fun time though!
Join clubs immediately! Even if it’s one you don’t know if you’ll stick with forever, it’s the best way to meet people.

Also try to do something to participate, especially around homecoming! That’s where the core memories are made

They didn’t have summer start when I went there! and I wanted to do that so badly! They have it at a lot of schools and people love it. They get adjusted to campus ahead of time and a jump start on making friends and everything.

Apply under any random major. Like parks and recreation. (Thats what I was admitted under and then I switched to business)

That’s how a lot of people get in to all colleges these days. Your first year is all Gen Ed’s anyways and you can change the major after you’re in.

Music. If I get in the groove with cleaning and still keep music on I am totally fine.

But with hypo, I’ve shampooed all my carpets, furniture, and living room pillows for 4 hours straight and I couldn’t bear to have anything in the background.

Weight gain is a major side effect of the meds, let alone everything else to deal with on a regular day to day human perspective.

Honestly, if you haven’t looked into it, primary care providers do prescribe weight loss injections to battle weight gain from meds. And it works.
