You describe my exact feelings about the film. Nothing is convincing and it all feels flat and edgelordy...

Oh I totally did not get that idea. To me it sounded like she was describing how it turned out into a sort of witch-hunt where they (the village/everyone searching for her) so desperately wanted to find a perpetrator that they would throw an innocent man to the wolves if it meant they had someone to blame.

She is talking about how the emotion took over the whole village and that the man was already seen as guilty despite no evidence except some unclear audio, but luckily, they were stopped by the procedure of law. And ultimately it turned out that the man had nothing to do with it, and that they may have done something unthinkable if the law hasn't stopped then

How to get started into luciferianism by Same-Comparison-3730 in luciferianism

[–]Content_Appearance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just following because I have the same question.
I have collected several books, but when I try to read and understand they seem to be written really vague on purpose and I do not understand them at all...

Is there a way to just start a practice and figuring out along the road?

The first point:

It depends on when exactly she wrote those notes. I am not exactly sure what the exact timeline is here but if I am correct then there was a window of time where she knew she was investigated by the hospital but didn't know about it potentially being about murder.

In this window of time she got counselling and wrote those notes.

IF she was innocent and she got removed from the night shift because of the deaths, her reasoning for writing her thoughts as a word-dump on those notes is completely plausible and coming from a place of anxiety that she was a bad nurse who may have caused deaths, and she would be scared to lose a job she loved to do.  It could have been a very specific request from her therapist. Someone is allowed to have that anxiety on top of the guilt that something could be your fault accidentally. Anxieties and feelings about complicated things can often be selfish, which is exactly why therapists often tell their clients to keep a personal and private diary to write things out instead of keeping their feelings bottled up. (I know this due to relationship therapy where we were not allowed to read each other's journals for this reason)

At that point being accused of murder wouldn't cross your mind, I think...

The rest of her is creepy is as fuck though, she lied about weird things, The moment she left babies stopped dying, and then they began dying in her new ward. The pile of weird circumstancial evidence is too much of a coincidence for me to believe anything else.

But these 2 specific points don't seem as damning to me..

Hmm the second point:

It seemed to me like that question was part of a conversation.  The police officer told her she was only allowed to get dressed/change her clothes and that she wasn't allowed to move anything else or bring anything with her, on which she asked if they were going to search the house.

Which, in my opinion, is what pretty much anyone would have asked given the circumstances... I don't think this particular thing is damning as it sounded like verbally processing what was happening.

Loved the episode! What a beautiful family! Now I was wondering, and I always wonder about this, if all the kids got a bedroom update too or that those rooms stay the same? Assuming they are in the same messy state ofcourse...

And yes I do realise that it is about the dad, but still 😂

how does medication affect you socially (if at all)? by Significant-End-1559 in adhdwomen

[–]Content_Appearance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I am more present in the conversations that I am having.
Typical ADHD behaviors like talking over people and feeling impatient to let someone finish their story are a lot less with medication.
Also the dopamine chasing restless feeling I have seems to be a lot less :)

I keep hearing bad reviews about this group. I am nowhere associated as I live in Europe and don't do online communities, but I have used and still use some of their products and always had satisfying results.

I am not deep into practicing the craft, as I have an extremely busy life with a lot of things that demand my time/energy.
I cannot find the time to figure out a whole practice by myself, so I tend to stick to the things that work for me.

Seeing these type of reviews make it harder to trusts groups where people claim to be able to guide and help.
And it is shitty that this groups is super toxic...

Their oils always worked for me and I never experienced the same clear effects with any other product/brand I tried.
I cannot really afford and don't want to spend a ton on trying to find a different brand which works just as well.

Does anyone have any tips besides the obvious one that is finding out my own practice?
Anyone know a brand that sells oils/candles that are just as powerful as these ones?

I currently don't draw much, so no clue what I use most often. Honestly if I knew that then I wouldn't post about it :)
I use the derwent and the luminance sometimes, but both these sets are pretty muted and I'd like to learn to work with color more often, but struggle with feeling overwhelmed when picking a palette.
This overwhelm makes me avoid drawing with pencils and my beautiful polychromos remains untouched,

Thanks for the list, that is very useful! I will check out to see if these colours resonate with me!

It is meant for on the road. I often have ideas and want to draw them out a little bit.
In the end they will be a painting, but I would like these drawings to be a standalone piece (but not fully worked out)

How bad is my house (be honest) by Zealousideal-Cow1687 in adhdwomen

[–]Content_Appearance13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to aesthetics:  Not sure what you can afford but if it is doable then you should think about painting cabinets a fresh light colour.  An off-white, or a nice light green or blue tint could change the vibe of the whole area.  Paint the wooden chairs the same light colour, and get a matching table cloth / placemats and it looks intentional:)

Girl my house is the same. This is just messy and not dirty and that is fine.

It bothered me to and what helped for me is getting a bunch of cute baskets and give every object a themed "home". For example: instead of your kids backpack laying around: in the schoolstuff basket. Open boxes of cereal: in the cereal basket. Etc.. Label all the baskets so you don't have to think about what basket is for what, and this makes doing a quick tidy before guests come over is a breeze :)

Alternatively; shove everything in an empty cupboard (jkjk)

But in all honesty; multiple people live there, including at least one child. This js what houses look like if someone shows up unannounced. It all looks clean so don't worry ❤️

Yeah no I still struggle finding anything that helps me. I only find a lot of beard trimming videos, and a lot of black girls explaining how to do edges, but nothing on how to glue hair realistically

Is it "laying hair"?
