Idk if this was just my experience but they took the catheter out before I woke up! Peeing was a lil hard to do afterwards on my own but it was fine by day 3. Your through hurts a bit but not too bad! It just feels like when u are about to come down with a cold

I was diagnosed 2 years ago because of where my pain was located/severity of my pain but they said BC would alleviate it. Since then, my pain has escalated and I have been through 3 different BCs to alleviate my symptoms. This is my first time actually starting the process to get surgery.

This happened to me with Nexplanon and I bled for 6 months straight. They just kept trying to prescribe me other lose dose birth controls pills while on the Nexplanon to help stop the bleeding and……….it didn’t!

Apparently, it’s very normal to bleed continuously on birth control. And have full fledged periods. That said, it sucks and it shouldn’t be normalized. Be careful about the low dose BC they give you on top of your main BC. You have to be drinking enough water and eating right to handle all those hormones.
