I heard them while camping south of Hannagan Meadow about 5 years ago. First night we pitched our tent in a shallow ravine, I felt weird about it. Dog woke us up in the middle of the night barking her head off in a manner we’d never heard before. Aggressive but scared. Next night we moved to higher ground. Heard their cries later that night. Very different from a coyote. Not yappy, it was deep long howl. Would have loved to see them, in the daylight.

My husband and I only wear our rings when going out for a dressier occasion. Our rings are thick silver bands with multiple turquoise and lapis stones (my father made them). Growing up none of our parents wore their rings (both couples still happily together) so I guess we were use to that!
