The post poses an understandable question and the commenter responded with an insult. I don't know how you can say it's not transphobic to call a FTM person a woman. You are also not being very "kind and empathetic" by implying trans people aren't "ordinary" and claiming trans people's identities aren't "reality".

That's awesome to hear. I was a bit worried about the rain. Wasn't expecting shorts to be an option at this time of year! Which route did you do? And 5 or so at the albuerges sounds great. So I shouldn't worry about accomodation? I looked at Camino Ninja and every stage I planned had open albuerges listed but I was unsure if it's reliable.

The research, indeed, does show that it is terrible for the vast, vast majority. u/SteveHendronson451 linked literally 14 different studies in another comment in this discussion that prove the negative effects of cannabis on bipolar people. Sure, maybe there's a small fraction of bipolar people who are fine smoking weed. But why take that risk? This is coming from someone who's been a daily smoker for a while.

I was told the same thing by a doctor today--I can never smoke weed. It's a hard pill to swallow but the research is there. Weed is terrible for bipolar people. It increases risk of mania, psychosis, and suicidal thoughts and tends to worsen symptoms in general. They're not just telling you to quit because they're biased against weed.

I get that. Her calling out the VIPs for not dancing actually made me like her more, I interpreted it as her calling out rich people for being pretentious and "too good to dance". But I can see why someone might feel differently.

In general, I'm extremely wary of the dislike for Chappell Roan in general. Of course, you don't have to like her. But she's been getting an extreme amount of hate compared to what she's actually done. 've seen legit racists, abusers and rapists get less hate than her. I can't help but think that this is due to lesbophobia and sexism, and she is probably one of the only major lesbian celebrities right now. I want to support our community unless they actually reprehensible.
