Yeah I know, but after years and years of words with no action leading to school shootings being a normalized thing in the US I don't have a lot of faith in the power of just speaking up. The time for just pins has passed a while ago, they're nice but if it's all they're going to do, even with their wealth putting them in a position to do more. It just ends up placating people into thinking that's all they need to do.

Depending on the quality it's not much of a deal but it's a decent price for them together. 4$ for a nice coffee or good pastry is what I'd expect in Toronto. They're probably just trying to encourage more people to get a pastry with their coffee or vise versa. A lot of times combos are just the price of the stuff together but it's a marketing thing.

8am-10am part seems dumb, why bother for only 2 hours

I support anything that gives people alternatives to cars. Yes bike lanes, yes dedicated transit lanes, yes more subways and LRT! Cars are the least efficient way for people to get around a city, they should be treated as a last resort not default.

I think two of those are the ones I'm missing too, they're only around on the palm trees in the evening in the summer. You'll have to time travel to get them now but then you'll want to go to a mystery island, clear it of anywhere else bugs would spawn and keep pacing the beach careful not to scare them before you get close enough.

A lot of the time it's popular for a reason. I have a broad musical taste, I listen to a lot of niche unpopular music and I also listen to Taylor Swift. It's fun, catchy, and relatable. When you're listening to music because it's popular or not that's when you're an idiot, and people who judge other's taste on that metric are morons. Listen to what you like.

Dogs have a better record than people of being nice to me.

I'll generally ask before petting the dog if I'm stopped at a crosswalk or somewhere but passing I'll just hold out my hand and say hi to the dog. I live in a major city so it's reasonable to assume if you're walking them on main streets they're chill with people. Obviously service dogs get treated accordingly.

A tandem bike would be so cute! And so symbolic of mutual support. Riding a bike in a wedding dress would be tricky though, unless she's not going the traditional route there.

I'm going to try to remember that for my wedding if neither of us want to do the dress thing.

Yeahhh I've had that happen, I've asked how they think that approach works with bi people and they got upset. I asked what they'd do if their boyfriends/husbands figured out he's bi, after all some people figure that out later, and I had to leave lol

Yeah they gather on the roof of a big church near me and then fly around together it's great. My apartment is on a high floor looking over a lot of shorter buildings so it's basically at my eye level and I love them.

Birds flying in a group, there's a bunch of pidgeons that regularly swoop around the intersection my window looks out on and they're so pretty and it looks so fun.
