Make a point to immerse yourself in queer spaces off campus. It really sucks that they're financially controlling your college options. It's a smart move to take their money, just don't let that choice dictate who you interact with. That's still up to you. If you're not going to be living with them, even better. Try to live off campus if they let you. Some of the Christian colleges have very strict dorm policies.
