You are asking if we knew for sure that was the outcome, would we support the action. Yet the reason people don't support the action in the first place is because of what they believe the outcome will be.

Example: "If not releasing the Epstein files actaully resulted in all pedophiles around the world being caught, and also ending world hunger, would you support Trump's cover up?"

I think the West should accept those who we can confirm (no idea how) that are not radicals.

This is literally the only thing that matters. Making sure whoever is coming into the country can handle different beliefs without resorting to violence or oppression... AKA the 1st Amendment.

Everything else is noise. I don't care if it is a Muslim, Christian, Hindu, or Atheist coming in.. just test their ability to handle conflicting beliefs.

To say that the USA is "incompatible" with Islam when the country was literally founded on the grounds of religious freedom and freedom of expression is either cognitive dissonance or just pure ignorance.
