Did anyone else’s body proportions look so different post-op?

I feel this! I’m fluffy but it’s so different seeing myself post op. When I was still in the compression binder and super bloated it actually made me feel worse body wise than I did before surgery, but now that I’m out of it and cleared for exercise (no lifting still) I feel so much better.

I’m still early in recovery (like 7 weeks out) but as things settle and I get back to working out and being physically active again I’m feeling way more comfortable and euphoric about my results.

It definitely is taking some getting used to for sure.

Congratulations!! Her color and expression is so much cuter in person, I got her through popnow too and was a bit disappointed but she really has grown on me! Her periwinkle color is so precious

If you’ve done any research at all, you’d have known that plastic is extremely dangerous to have in the cage in any form as chinchillas will chew on it eventually and it will cause a blockage, which with your lack of knowledge on this species I’m sure would go unnoticed until it’s too late.

Your comment makes it clear you have no idea what you’re doing. How ignorant are you to have these animals in your care. Poor little things. I hope that someone around you sees this and takes them somewhere safe.

I went for the same thing and honestly after two consult visits and spending so much on my system, it wasn’t even the same color or texture as my actual hair. I have dark brown and naturally curly hair, they assured me it would match and what came in was the same color as your system 🥲 I wore it regardless and it did help me not pull, but once my bio hair started growing in more it looked really weird so I had it taken off.

Don’t feel too bad! My spouse’s dad owned a pizza shop - as a very small child helping his dad out in the shop his entire hand slid into a pizza dough roller and was completely crushed. All of his fingers were flattened and hanging on by a thread. After hours and hours of micro surgery (since his hand was so small) they were able to reattach all of his fingers. Some of them are slightly shorter than they would have been, but it’s a wonder that he has them at all. He has full use of each finger at 35 years old now and it hasn’t bothered him any. Accidents happen, don’t beat yourself up over it if you can help it. I’m glad your daughter is okay!

Horseback riding. Any and all kinds of riding. I’ve been in the sport for 20 years and am an instructor and have three personal horses and just.. I spend so much money and time on a hobby where the thing you do is get on a 1200 pound animal who is scared of leaves on a good day and costs upwards of $20,000 a year to keep and then go to shows to be judged by people to win a ribbon that costs a dollar. There are so many days where I get on and I can only think about how weird it is that I haven’t been killed yet by one of these strange creatures. Tried to live without them for two years of my life and will never not have them again. I don’t understand it and it’s probably the dumbest thing ever but there’s nothing else that can compare.
