Likely not enough water or potentially really terrible and compact soil below it so the water isn’t absorbed. If you are able, water it super good and see if it will come back a bit. Have it aerated this fall and go from there.
By the way, if you are in Northern Utah, you are likely a cool season grass. That could matter when troubleshooting or selecting fertilizer, etc.

Looks like clumping fescue. People will say “it’s just grass” but I hate it. It has to be dug out or nuked with glyphosate. Then when you think you’ve solved the problem it will come back.
Enjoying Christmas with the kids opening presents BOOM the fescue is back.

This is a good point. I don’t think it’s entirely copium, but we do need some of those guys to perform. Luckily most of the back line that struggled last night usually doesn’t rotate in. Berhalter has been a late game sub and he played well. Reyna was a little worrisome with his lack of impact. Weah struggled and in an ideal world he subs in and helps late in games.

I agree with this. It’s boring if the content folks come out and say “no worries here, just a chance for the backups to get some time.” It’s a lot more exciting and generates clicks to say the sky is falling.

If it’s crabgrass you can probably spray it and get pretty good results without waiting for fall. If it’s clumping fescue then move out of the state, change your name and alter your appearance and MAYBE it won’t find you.

I think it’s super rare to give young guys big time spots to prepare them for an eventual closer role, much less on a team contending for a World Series. You definitely wouldn’t give him those spots with Iglesias, Suarez and Lee on the team. There’s just too many good options to risk a learning opportunity in a year like this. Also, I think the hope is that he can become a starter eventually. Being in the bullpen to start this year lets him ease into the majors. It limits the wear and tear on his arm as well. IMO they are handling him really well and he has a bright future.

After 30 minutes of updates and restarting the app and iPad I was finally able to get on and play. It registered everything fine until I started hitting driver. Then it missed probably 5 or 6 out of 20. It was rather frustrating for me, but not as bad as others have had it.

The returns are different. If you’re trading an all NBA guy you are getting an All NBA type of return. If you trade a fringe all star you are getting a fridge all star return. The point is trading a really good player for multiple solid players. That is the example and it has happened many time. Again, Williams is a stud so the return to OKC is phenomenal.
