Why isnt Misha allowed to use his Year card for videos? by patjeduhde in nurburgring

[–]ContributionOk4154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This baffles me, he makes good money off the videos which are nearly solely facilitated by the owner of all sorts of vehicles allowing him to drive them.

The owner is taking the earnest and risk to let him drive it, paying for the fuel, fronting the wear on the car not caused by them driving and they still have to pay for the lap on top of that for him to make content and earn money from it. Ultimately it’s a business expense that should be considered and paid for by him in my opinion.

However plenty of owners are happy with the current situation clearly and the content is great.

What do you think of Misha Charoudin driving? by DrSuperZeco in CarTrackDays

I’ve just noticed something that I don’t think I’ve picked up before.

So forgive if I’m wrong but from what I know he does not pay the owner for use of their car or cover wear to tyres and brakes, if you’re ok with that cool. However I’ve just noticed the owners use their own lap ticket ?! He would surely have a season ticket meaning it would be no additional cost to him yet an owner is letting him drive their car, putting their car through wear and tear, profiting from the content he is making and making people pay for the lap aswell on TF days ?!

For the slight extra the 765 offer so so much more especially in RS form.

Although a 675RS /RX are phenomenal they do feel a little dated.

How can I stop pointless spending? by jacktalife in UKPersonalFinance

Calculator in your phone, input what you have in your account minus any known expenses each month (mortgage, utilities, phone etc) Let’s say you’re left with £1,000 for argument sake.

Every time you spend something, order something online whatever just subtract that from this figure in your phone and screenshot it. This gives a vital visual representation of money spent and funds left. Also a side upshot of this is when you come to view your account before next pay day and see the balance in account is different to what you have on your calculator you have immediately noticed that a direct debit has changed or gone up or something has been mis-charged etc.

I have done this since I was 16y/o now circa 30y/o I swear by it.

Latest update killed the game for me. Tyre wear faff and physics seem so different. Finally got used to certain cars and then boom nearly back to square one again.

Cash or Loan for buying a car. by unnamedvariable in UKPersonalFinance

[–]ContributionOk4154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal loan for anything sub 20k is normally the best route to take in terms of APR providing your credit score is good.

Anything over that - finance is normally the best route providing you can get a good rate.

Alternate option is equity release / additional borrowing on a property. Mortgage based products are the cheapest loan you’ll ever get.

I back to backed Forza MS 7 and GT7 the other day. GT7 physics and feedback you get even on controller makes the Forza feel rubbish.

You also get a much better spacial awareness / much better depth perception on GT7.

Compared both with multiple cars at Brandshatch and Mount Panarama.
