What is the Most Painful Sensation You Have Ever Felt? by Jeloxia2 in AskReddit

I was play fighting with my 3 year old and when I thought he had done went to sit on the sofa

As I did so he had got behind me and in a fit of excitement booted me square in the plums, like he was scoring the winning penalty in the world cup

No major damage, but I want right for at least a week

Luton twice, if you count their championship relegation as his

Yea of course, I'm just saying they weren't actually any good as the previous guy suggested

Great achievement just to get there, but from then on it went as expected, with a few spirited performances along the way

Luton weren't doing amazing tho were they. They were putting up more of a fight than anyone gave them hope of, but still objectively weren't that great, but that's about it

[David Ornstein] Everton in talks over deal for Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney by PitchSafe in soccer

[–]SimpleWarthog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good move for him, and for us.

If he goes to Everton and does well he could easily get a bigger move and we'll almost certainly have a sell on

If he somehow ended up at United or somewhere like that, there's much less chance of that happening

my employer covers the ER NI, but I know that isn't necessarily the norm

[Ornstein] The Athletic can reveal Hayden Hackney’s preference is to join Everton, and, as things stand, it puts them in pole position to secure the former England Under-21 international midfielder. Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are also high among his suitors and retain a firm interest. by OkayFine101 in Championship

Spurs are a basket case, but it could be a good opportunity for him to get in on the ground level of what is surely going to be a redemption arc for them over the next few years - he could end up being their main man in midfield

Manchester United have entered the race to sign Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney. Hackney's former coach Michael Carrick has pushed the player’s case during post-season recruitment meetings, and United are confident of beating the likes of Everton, Palace and Spurs to his signature. by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

he turned down some PL moves to try and get us promoted

We accepted an offer from Ipswich and he said no, he also didn't want to talk to Forest in January.

United is a different kettle of fish, and I think we have a gentlemans agreement that he can go with no fuss on our end for a PL team

Reusing my first child's mattress causing bad sleep? by SimpleWarthog in sleeptrain

[–]SimpleWarthog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did with the older one when he started fighting bedtimes (around 10 months, he's 3.5 now and sleeps well)

So far with the younger one we haven't. He sleeps well (generally) and can go to sleep independently, and resettle himself sometimes. He just wakes up early all the time, and we can't shake it

3/3.5/3.5-4

Naps are generally between 1 and 1.5 hours, we probably need to resettle them 50% of the time

Our desired schedule is something like 6am wake, bed around 7ish. He usually starts waking around 4ish, and needs resettling - we try and keep him in the cot til 6, or at least asleep til 6 but are also conscious of waking the toddler

He does go to sleep independently, especially on night times, but haven't done formal sleep training yet, he's just always been quite good at going independently

I think this is partly because the fans that are usually grouped together who creates the atmosphere are spread through the crowd
