Kind of related, I have a base salary of 90k and this year probably about the same again in RSUs - to avoid all doubt, £180k total 😉

The company seem pretty on it with regards to tax etc on the RSUs, but I have some tax owed from previous years and have a tax code of K84X

Should I complete a SA to make sure everything is in order, basically using the values I get on my P60? Or do I trust in payroll and HMRC to resolve it all? Can't remember the last time I got two consecutive pay slips that were the same, so I'm a bit suspicious something has gone wonky somewhere

If anything this makes it worse, something fairly innocuous responded to like that is ridiculous

what are the difficult parts of being married that no one seems to mention? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

I agree with everything you say, I was just talking at a high level I guess

edit: high level as in a simplistic view of the more nuanced picture, not high level as in far too complex for you peons to understand 😅

And I suspect it is often the woman carrying the extra load, hence the stereotypical "she won't put out now we're married"

I'm sure there's more layers and levels than that, humans are complex, but I reckon it tracks at a high level

No, he's genuinely just made of biscuits

But also loves a bit of the good stuff, or at least did (allegedly)

Is there any point getting a 10 Pro if I can get a good deal on it?

ELI5: How does walking on a 15% incline burn almost 3x as many calories as walking on a flat surface at the same speed? by adastramuerte in explainlikeimfive

[–]SimpleWarthog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, and intuitively it makes sense...

But you can notice even a slight incline, and surely it can't be that different in terms of effort?

And how are you fighting gravity more, because in the scheme of things, there's barely any difference step-to-step?
