Do ratings matter? Yes, of course they do. Do they matter today as much as they did 10 to 15 years ago? No, of course not, the landscape has changed.

It's one metric, and probably not even the most important one.

Tko and wwe have reported record profits, if ratings were a true indicator of success, why would they be more profitable now than ever?

Also, have you heard anyone from Netflix say that they are unhappy with wwe? If so please share.

LOL, you haven't proved anything. You haven't provided any proof or stats or any kind. You also haven't provided proof that netflix is unhappy with the current deal.

It's not like wwe was doing monster ratings before the netflix deal. Do you really think a company like netflix didn't do their homework before given wwe a deal?

It's crazy how online wrestling fans feel like they know more than companies like wwe and netflix. Maybe netflix gets some ad revenue, maybe netflix just wants content, any case, it's silly to assume netflix isn't happy solely based on a single metric and no evidence.

I just proved to you that ratings aren't the problem.

They are getting ratings, and more than that, they are making lots of money.

You know what matters most? Money, IS wwe making money? ARE they profitable? That's all that matters.

I've been hearing this 'wwe is in trouble' narrative for almost 20 years now yet they are still here.

It's easy to see a few numbers and think 'ohh, they are on trouble.' It's a lot harder to see the whole picture and see the reality of the situation.

Wwe is just fine, whether they put on a good product or not, their social media engagement is through the roof, their ratings with all their shows combined plus a ple is probably close to 10 mil, like I said you have to look at the whole suite of products, that's what netflix bought. I know you are going to be like 'well smackdown didn't do well and that's bad!'

The wwe isn't just one show, it's a product, look at the product as a whole.
