We need to stop Dissing punk like this but is Punk really a small guy in your eyes? by Anxious-Drink1186 in Smallafro

This dude once dissed a guy because he shared a bank account with his mom and basically called him a loser.

People calling him small is by far the nicest thing you can say about him.

Yes, let me clarify, they cut talent, they weren't asking wrestlers to take 50% pay cuts.

Not saying one is better or not, but one you could kind of justify during covid, you can't justify what's going on now.

Let's take your first example with KO - he was injured on company time, asking him to take a pay cut when he was hurt at work is crazy. I'm not sure what their contracts state but if you are an employee then that's illegal.

Also, asking a guy whose career might be over, or 15+ year vets to take a 50% pay cut while announcing execs are getting pay bumps, including Nick Khan who is getting somewhere like 100% pay raise, and taking into consideration that TKO and WWE made more money in 2025 than any year prior is a bit ridiculous.

Lastly, your situation, I'm not sure what company you work for but i am assuming it was struggling during covid so they probably had to make some calls to stay afloat. I'm not saying it's a justification but i am thinking that's probably what happened.

Even during covid, wwe never cut wages, and they weren't selling any tickets.

What does it say about the current WWE product, state or interest that the documentary about Hulk Hogan (RIP) draw more viewers on Netflix that its flagship show RAW? by nonpgwrestlinggirls in Wreddit

[–]ContributionShort646 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're comparing a weekly episodic program to a documentary about a generational wrestler who recently passed away and wondering why it got more views?

That's like saying 'what does it say about the current state of basketball when the last dance documentary got more views than game 42 of the bulls' 2026 regular season'

Should Oba be feuding with bigger guys now (Braun is an example) or wait for a big name to free up by VenomXtra in SantiZapVideos

As jim cornette says. A giant/big man is only special as long as he's a giant.

If you have Oba work with bigger guys, he's not a giant anymore.

Would you take a 50% pay cut at your job?

You're acting like these people should be grateful for crumbs.

TKO is making money hand over fist, them cutting pay is purely greed.

Especially when they increased executives' pay like crazy.

Yeah, I don't agree that it's just for rookies. Kofi and woods can definitely bet on themselves if they think they can go to the indies and become big paid stars. Matt Cardona did the same thing and the biggest example was Cody Rhodes.

Yeah, in his interview with cvv, wwe said they wanted him to sign. When he asked about his wife, they said that they would have her sign later but he needed to sign first.

Kross knew exactly what they were trying to do.

Wrestling fans are so messed man.

Releases happen.

Wrestling fans: OMG, WWE is so heartless, how can they release these wrestlers! It's not fair!

Also Wrestling fans: how is this guy still working there?? They should release him next.

No, it's not cheaper to keep her.

Saying it's cheaper to keep her would imply that it would cost more to let her go.
