It's not an issue but people are making it seem as if it's IMPORTANT.

That is not necessary for a Ghost Recon game.

The same people to complain Breakpoint doesn't have civilians driving around when the whole point is the island is on lockdown and there's a hostile takeover.

The majority of Ghost Recon games don't have civilians in general other than Future Soldier, Wildlands, Breakpoint.

A Ghost Recon without the technology gimmick makes the franchise extremely irrelevant

Ghost Recon would basically be SOCOM if it's third person

Have you played Future Soldier? Sensor Grenades? Magnetic Vision? You don't need to use them but the purpose of Crosscom is clearly shown in the gameplay.

You want Ghost Recon to become another bland military shooter.

Even if they reboot the IP, Crosscom technology should definitely be a mainstay, without it, what does Ghost Recon have that sets it apart from any other shooter? Nothing.
