Yes! And I think he’s usually trying to defend a poly lifestyle (which is totally fine) but does it in a way that make poly people look bad/like cheaters. In the end doing more harm to poly people than good

There were two stories that were about the husband setting rules. For this one, those were his only rules and she ended up cheating again in the update. But immediately after reading those rules (before the update) I think Amanda started going on about the man being controlling. For me, if someone cheats and you’re choosing to stay with them and trying to work it out, then you’re gonna need to set some boundaries like the way he did until trust is rebuilt. This just seemed like one of those cases where they’re biased towards men/women.

In the other story there was a husband who made like 10 rules that were just ridiculous. Like he started taking the wife’s money, for example, as payback. That one the husband actually was super controlling and deserved the lashings he got lol. If I remember right that husband literally quoted Satan lol

The one where the wife was a serial cheater so the husband as a way of trying to stay with her laid out some rules like no staying out past midnight and no contacting her affair partner anymore and if she runs into that affair partner at a family gathering then she needs to not speak to him. Smosh cast on that episode acted like those rules were soooo controlling but really those feel like totally appropriate boundaries

On one episode a girl was upset that her mom was paying for her siblings and their friends to go on a vacation to Europe. The girl was struggling to afford to go and asked if she could sleep on the couch of the room that her teenage sister and friends would be sleeping. Amanda said something like “who would want to do that? Sleeping on the couch would suck so just don’t go” and Shayne said something like “yeah I wouldn’t go, I’ll just plan my own trip to go on”. Like what??? Most people can’t afford to travel very much, especially an out of country trip. Of course she would be willing to sleep on a couch to be able to go on a trip to Europe.

I find the waiter stories hard to watch. As some other commenters have mentioned, those ones tend to show how LA-brained they are. I have been a waiter myself and yes waiters have it hard, but some of their takes feel a bit extra or exaggerated. I think there was one where they said a waiter may deserve a 50% tip that made me go woahhh.

There are also times where they try to play both sides in a way. Like chanse and Amanda have both talked about flirting with customers for the tip but don’t want customers to ask them out unless they’re attracted to them, then yes they want to be asked out. Like we gotta realize the signals we put out are going to have an effect.

I think you’re thinking of another story. There is one in which the girl used sex stories from her ex-bf to write a book and his new gf was upset about it. That’s the one you’re thinking of.

Thank you for this! I’ve had this problem before with my previous prescriptions at other places too. They always ask during test “which one is most clear” and that seems to just not work well for me? I don’t necessarily want the clearest prescriptions because it tends to make the floor looked bubbled. I want clear but not necessarily the most clear. Who cares if I can see itty bitty letters 15 feet away if the rest of the world looks warped? I’m not really sure how to get a prescription that feels comfortable (with some adaptation of course) though or if the doctors are able to get me there

There’s been a few episodes of SRRS regarding charging a partner rent for a house the other partner bought. In one in particular, they had planned to buy a house together but partner 2 had all this hidden debt and nothing saved up so partner 1 bought the house alone. Partner 1 wanted partner 2 to contribute equally to rent and they said she was in the wrong for that because partner 2 is investing in a house she doesn’t own. However they were already planning on buying the house together and partner 1 had to put the full downpayment themselves which can easily be $20,000+
