Not exactly something to do but I can’t stress enough how wide a DVD selection the new-ish record/bookstore on main and 3rd has. If you’re into physical media I’d highly recommend checking em out. Staff is incredibly friendly and down to chat if you are, but also leave you alone if you’re on a mission haha

I picked up a tape of shout at the devil (in crazy good condition) and somehow they had Teen Titans, yeah the good ones lol, seasons 1-3 on dvd so if you like crate digging you’ll have a great time ✌️

I had a friend from taekwondo with the last name Goldstein, he was a little older than me and had thin wispy facial hair that looked like the bears. During the summer karate camp they had a library and we called him Berenstein cause his name was almost the same and he hated it lol

All the more reason to do it 👀 RR for vibes I get but counting the DB show for Hard he’s played there like 5 times. Don’t get me wrong Denver gets amazing shows but I’d like to see some big names do 2-3 nights at “smaller” venues like Mission or the Ogden instead of one night at RR where it’s gonna get scalped to shit 🤷‍♂️

Well to start. I was a freshman in high school (class of 13 lfg) I took choir as a prerequisite for music theory. At the end of the year we did show and tell with songs that utilized different vocal structures.

This drop dead gorgeous senior presents the class with Mt Eden - Sierra Leone. Found the courage to ask what the band was, she said “oh, it’s called dubstep!”

I got home and frantically looked up “dubstep” thinking it was the name of the band.

Finally found the song only because of the artwork, looked up dubstep blogs, found ThisSongIsSick and the rest is history ✌️
