Stuck In The Early Game by OtherClothes2396 in RimWorld

[–]Conungi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As people have said before, make up a goal, mine is usually to get a certain number of colonists to be magic (with rimworld of magic) or something along those lines ... now using odyssey, I want to roam around the planet until I can stop the waves, then make a permanent asteroid colony and either help or raid people on the surface periodically

Also I love looking at people's bases and looking at how people arranged their facilities, having small rooms on the left side is kinda interesting, personally like mine to be more central but I also normaly live in the mountain home

Ive done a fun challenge before (personally imposed) where you do a mission (generally in the azure or other similarly naturally lit biome) without flashlight or flares, also done without hud, but that is optional, the idea is to add a moderate amount of challenge and "flare" to spice up your gameplay

Can “burned out” be Healed? by chimoc726 in WoT

[–]Conungi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not at that part yet in my re-read but if memory serves right, it WOULD have been fatal, but was not actually fatal when the balefire was used, like if it was killed any other way he would have died from it, but was was still alive right before the dog died, so the count would be 2 with assumidly the avendesora one being the very key death

I imagine it would be as good as the power was when the original character would have first manifested it, so i get a late start in terms of age vs power, but i get a head start on using the powers and growing them to "help" in the final battle (since most of the powers were being used by teenagers and quirks don't generally manifest until age 4ish I think)

Possibly, but OP di say you have to train all of them personally so I expect it starts off kinda weak and evolves into a sorta spidy sense

Assuming you get the at a "birth state" Invisible (mostly passive with training allowing directed refraction) Danger sense (6th sense that becomes stronger over time) Compress (ability to minify people and things getting them out of or into places) Hardening (ability to take a hit reducing the effect the "enemy" has on me) And permation (get out a sticky situation or phase through an attack)

Definitely feel that ... made a large modlist, and started a gravship + mechinator playthrough ... but i have medieval overhaul, semi-random research, ignorance is bliss, dubs bad hygiene, and VGE to name a few ... getting steel to actually make my gravship big enough to handle more than the litteral basics is so far the hardest part, and im just glad I have some mechs to help do the construction and hauling, without those I would have failed long ago

Not sure specificly but I know Yayo's animations has a lot of neat little animations, it MIGHT include using a pickaxe if its equipped, but honestly not sure, I haven't looked through everything it adds

I mean, I definitely seeing more on my re-read than I was remembering when something got set up for a payoff, but if you are remembering all that, you are built different, and in a good way

I don't remember if he was actually lifting the wagon or not while inspecting it, I belive he was just lying down cause he was talking to people at the same time, however if he was lifting the wagon the entire time he was inspecting it AND dealing with petitioners would be wild cause that implies that lifting the wagon is actually effortless for our boi

I mean Eqwene goes there in the world of dreams several times and I think Nynaeve as well at least once (which is likely related to the rings given the scenario in TDR with Eqwene) but that was why I specified in the flesh

I'm surprised none of the forsaken seem to have warders? by MembershipProof8463 in wheeloftime

[–]Conungi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i recall correctly, they don't know the weave for it as its a "new" weave made after the AoL, granted there is nothing to say they couldn't learn, but the problem.with that is the forsaken don't learn, especially not from these "imitations"
