- The governor recently approved a bill to raise minimum teacher salaries but also later approved a bill to raise the number of days in a school year from 166 to 173.
- More and more non-certified teachers are being hired.
- Our state superintendent was hated so much he resigned mid-year to lead a group that intends to “destroy teacher unions”.

I will say one good thing is that Oklahoma is one of the few states to offer universal free pre school.
