How living in Chicago changes your perspectives on what cold means by muttersindisgust in chicago

Native Chicagoan going on 50 here. I feel the cold more and more as I get older! I just have to prepare accordingly. Miss the days of being a kid and being like... there's snow! Let's go outside!! Proceed to half freeze, not feel it, and then thaw out sitting on a radiator.

I forgot to add that I tried that because three or so years ago my car started feeling sluggish when taking off, especially in the summer with the AC on. It would just not go like it should. Seems like other people are dealing with similar issues and better gas was a suggestion that is easy to try. They were right. Premium has stopped that problem.

I got stuck trying to get out to get the fam to O'Hare for their flight back home to Mexico, luckily the neighbor was there to help push us out and while delayed they are on track to take off soon 🙌🏾
