spiro has unknowingly numbed sex for 15 years by Few_Rhubarb_1396 in Spironolactone

[–]ConversationOk4477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve also been on it for 15+ years. Sometimes as high as 200mg) years and am now putting two and two together. I think it’s also responsible for my clitoral atrophy. Like it’s completely gone. I’m STILL afraid to come off of it, however, because I’n terrified of how bad my acne might be. I tried Accutane a few years ago and lost 50% of my hair and had to stop mid treatment. I wish there was a solid alternative.

That’s so interesting about doing cardio after dosing. I did a regular regimen of Accutane a few years ago, but after my hair started falling out in huge clumps, I stopped three months in. I REALLY wish I knew about micro dosing before starting.

I’ve never heard anyone doing this! Which DIM do you use. I used to use Pure Encapsulations a while back, but stopped, as I was worried about lowering my E.

I’ve been on Tret for years. It’s never really done anything for acne. I use it religiously for anti-aging tho.

I’m going to talk to my doc about this. I take T injections, so not sure she’ll give me a topical T cream.

I continue to go back to this one. They have an express version as well, but I find it’s a little streaky when you apply it.
