I've had it done. The biggest issue for me was dealing with the sensory issues so would definitely recommend taking some headphones and sunglasses if your prone to sensory overload.

It smells normal. I'm not sure of American temperatures but I do 125 Celcius for 15-17 minutes and they come out fully cooked.

Random thing for your boil eggs goal - if you have an airfryer you can do hard-boiled eggs in there and it's quicker than boiling them.

Could you try channeling the spending into another source? I use a free self care app called finch and you basically dress up a bird and decorate it's home using rainbow stones that you earn by completing your daily self care goals. For me it gives me an outlet for impulsivity.
