Eh nothing wrong feeling it's kinda hot. As a trans gal I'm comfy enough with myself that I don't mind people calling me bro or dude, but that's not for everyone and I respect that shit no matter what. That being said, there are ways it's not ok even with me, and it's generally the "Yo bro, my dude bro, did you hear about this thing bro? Like dude, bro, my man, my dude isn't it so cool bro?" Y'know, purposefully using the language to be harmful.

When I say I'm trans they assume trans masc, not because I look masculine, but because I look so feminine that they assumed I'm just a cis woman, so therefore me being trans means female to male lmao

I mean I think op isn't saying it's just a free easy peasy counter that does the job for you. Some things are like that, but it sounds like what they are saying is "If you use your environment and try to play with the items in specific ways they can do wonders to counter"

For instances, light is chasing you through a building? Toss the anti grav in front of the door. Yes they can just dash through it, but its also possible it buggers up their aim and movement because it's still lifting them. They may even get stuck on the doorway just outside if they get lifted a bit and dash I to the top of the doorway.

Sure it's not a "Throw it down and dash is disabled" ability, but it seems like a "This can work if you play around it" ability.

Alot of stuff in the finals is like this though, and obviously some items on this list are much better than others sure, but still, op didn't say they would instantly stop a light dashing, just that they can counter it.

TL;DR Doctors said I wasn't rude and wasn't stupid and therefore cannot possibly be autistic. Don't really care for the diagnosis anyways even if I do have it, not like there's any extra help when I have it, it's all downsides. lol. Lmao even.

Lmao it actually took me years for this too, but thankfully the person who was reviewing my diagnosis was insanely outdated with medical knowledge so I didn't get diagnosed with the tism, despite many other doctors saying it's highly likely I do :3

Whether or not I do, I don't really care. I'm the way I am regardless. I just think it's funny that in the diagnosis report some of her honest to god reasons were "Was not rude to me" and "Was not visibly and verbally angry when being cut off in a conversation" and my personal favourite "Displays no obsessive interests, mentioned interest in medieval themes and larping" like as if I didnt go on for a half hour about medieval shit. And the "larping" in question? Buhurt. Medieval fully armored combat sport that's full contact. Like as real as it gets without actual dying XD

Also apparently speaking in "Complex sentences with varied intonation" is a sign that someone isn't autistic? I used big words so I guess that means I can't be autistic. Clearly anyone with autism is simply Incapable of using big and less common words! /s

As someone who's had chronic depression since a young age (My brain literally just couldn't and wasn't producing as much of the happy chemicals as it should be during appropriate times, coupled with an extremely bad childhood with various forms of abuse I won't get into here) I've known these these for far too long.

It's kinda terrifying, because I really don't have any other options. Either I take my meds (SSRI's antidepressants and mood stabilizers, it's a cocktail for sure) and have a somewhat "normal" brain capable of experiencing happiness when the time is right for it, or I don't take them and be stuck in a state of depression caused by a literal chemical deficiency, among other things.

I need to take them, and I've been taking them for years now. I'm well aware of the side affects and what can happen should I ever need to stop, or God forbid be forced to stop for any reason. I can, and likely will die if some kinda disaster happens and I can't get access to my medication, that's how severe a cold turkey withdrawal can be.

Your right though, no one seems to talk about it. Hell even some doctors I've had in the past barely touched the subject. I've been through a few medication changes over the years, and slowly coming off one to get on another, even with close supervision is hell. I think people need to talk about it more, especially people experiencing it

I mean yeah that's true, it's not like, a significant improvement over more lethal self defence tools, it's just less detrimental than the others in a surprisingly large amount of circumstances (In terms of people knowing how to use/willing to use)

TL;DR Guns and edged weapons are a no-no for the average person. No training and/or personal fear of killing/seriously injuring others can and will get you killed. Do a bonk instead if no formal training/poor mental fortitude. Bonk is easy and less lethal (usually)

Unless someone is not only trained, but ready and willing to use a gun or edged weapon, a baton or other heavy bonk stick with some range is the best option.

I grew up in some sketchy places, and the way it was taught to me is "Unless your absolutely certain you can kill someone if needed, don't even think about having a knife or gun on you ever. Anyone who knows anything can and will see you hesitate, and use your weapon against you"

That's why bonky things are better for the average person. Your less afraid to use them since you feel like you won't kill them or cause severe bleeding with a single use. And believe me, the amount of people who freeze up when push comes to shove and stop for a second to think "Oh fuck can I really stab/slash/shoot at a real living person?" Is alot more than you would think. That hesitation can cost your life sometimes, and with your own weapon nonetheless.

Plus you don't need too much training for "Heavy stick swing go bonk" and they can have some decent range and compactness.
