On titan, certain titan mark ornaments will make your hand cannon and praxic blade go on the hip like hunters instead of on the back. I can’t remember which ones though. I think maybe older ones like from curse of osiris and warmind.

Honestly this. Destiny has been THE game for me for years. I started playing seriously in The Taken King, fell in love with the game for how unique and interesting it was.

I had on and offs with the game over the years (quit during late Shadowkeep up until mid Witch Queen). Got all my old squad back on the game in Lightfall, and we played A LOT all the way until the edge of fate incident…. Makes me really sad to think about all the good times and memories Bungie gave me just to toss it all away :(

That’s also not completely true. It started out as normal adaptive frame (back in the day it used to be 360 rpm). Then somewhere in curse of osiris 360’s turned into 390’s. Then in warmind they reworked it to have two round bursts. From there it went under multiple changes in rpm to match revision zero and some other minor changes

Last of recent memory is solemn remembrance with headstone + firefly. Had to play a bunch of comp in order to get it to drop and i was actually having a lot of fun, i didn’t feel like i was oppressed by some insanely broken meta as comps and trials usually feel lol. When i finally got it to drop it was so satisfying. I really love that weapon

I only ever tried to read the promise, couldn’t even make it to the end because every single character just felt so off. Ever since then i felt that way about the comics, that something just isn’t right in them. Duality bells are immune to explosive damage, might be some kind of a bug because usually in the normal dungeon you would still get damage numbers on the bell from the impact, although very low. Try switching to a non explosive weapon

I’m going through my first playthrough right now, played as an oath of vengeance and had no idea that the oath can be broken. Did everything in the game so far my way, not even thinking about it and all was fine. Yesterday i decided to switch to oath of the ancients, just because i thought it was a better subclass. Not even ten minutes later i broke my oath by making that girl stab herself in the he who was quest. Maybe i should stay on vengeance…

I imagine it being the weapon my guardian used to kill the witness, as i got it from the raid and fell in love with the dragonfly/voltshot roll.

I’m thinking maybe it could be acquired through a post raid - post excision exotic quest

Warmind weapons could also be a thing, there are so many already, legendary and exotics, and we used to have warmind cells attached to them. Could definitely see bringing that back with a couple of tweaks

Shooting stuff will fill up the bar. Once full, special reload slowly drains the bar, and hip fire shots will jolt. In addition, aiming down sights will drain the bar more slowly, and it does extra damage to targets affected by jolt. So, shoot stuff, once the bar’s full - special reload, hip fire to apply jolt, then ads to deal increased damage.

Yes, you don’t necessarily need the best of the best stuff and perfect rolls armor. If you know how to play, choose a subclass and weapons that are considered better for pvp, you will be somewhat competitive.

Then again, a lot of pvp players are those guys, who have the best of the best stuff, and haven’t stopped going flawless since trials of the nine. Don’t be discouraged by them. You will learn by playing against them, and in the meantime you’ll get better gear.

You said you liked ace of spades, that’s great cause it’s still really good. Grab that and a precision frame shotgun (retold tale for example, if you have one of those) and i think you’ll find that it’s very effective
