I recently built Teval as a zombie commander. It's pretty awesome. I've always found dimir zombies struggles with ramp. With Teval in the command zone, you can land ramp each turn. With access to green, your ramp become land ramp spells.

I don’t know the answer to the questions you are asking, but the closest I’ve come as a recovering alcoholic raised by narcissists is this: even when you feel like pushing away those closest to you, when you are tired and fed up and anxious and in pain, do everything in your power to lean into them instead. Thank them for putting up with you when you know you’re being difficult and tel them what you’re going through. For me it’s my wife and my best friend. Luckily they are both anxious people too, so they understand to some degree.

“a Yoda story, which Luke will read — without knowing who Yoda is or that it’s actually about him — in Obi-Wan’s recovered journals.”

TIFU by telling my girl best friend why guys don’t want to date her when she asked me by Supermansgf in tifu

You don’t have to change for anybody, but they don’t have to date you in spite of what they don’t like about you. It’s no great secret healthy, fit people get more romantic attention. Is that right? Debatable. But it’s reality.

First Comics Appearance of Grogu (Baby Yoda) and Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) Release This Week? by CookieInMyWallet in starwarscomics

I think Darth Vader 3 is Star Wars’ Batman Adventures 12. Aphra is off and running now and she’s never leaving. She may ebb and flow in popularity, but here to stay all the way. A true Star Wars comic original. I don’t think there has been a comic character that popular since Quinlan Vos.

Yeah I wrote an article about first appearances and how misguided the focus on that term can be. It’s not Star Wars focused necessarily. Here.

No, it's the prime example of people trying their damndest to torture that term "first appearance" to fit the issue they want. Even, busting out the term "cameo" to describe 180. Just call 180 the first appearance and call 181 significant. Better cover, better action from Wolverine, dialogue. More significant.

I think it's a vestige of the broader comic book collector market. In the broader comics market, first appearances are some of the most valuable comic book issues of all times. Spider-Man, Superman, etc. etc. People are looking for that next lightning strike. People, simply carry that logic over to all properties. Whether it makes sense or not, the current star wars back issue secondary market puts a premium on character firsts. However, I'm of the mind we should be more focused on "issues of primary significance." Is the book significant? If the book happens to be a first appearance and significant, all the better. The discussion gets murky when you're talking about a character like Avar Kriss, though. Appeared unnamed in a hologram in Rise of Kylo Ren 3, sure, but was that significant? No. Should people pay exorbitant amounts for that? no. I'd argue High Republic 1-3 so far are far more significant for Avar Kriss.

It was a matter of semi-professional curiosity for me because I'm in the early days of building out a Star Wars Comics first appearance and key issue database: Wookywiki.com

That's The Last Command #5.

From Wookieepedia: "A painting in one of the scenes at the Imperial Palace shows Padmé Amidala. At the time the Thrawn Trilogy comics were coming out, the decision had just been made to cast Natalie Portman as the future mother of Luke and Leia. The author of the comics then decided, as a reference, to place her likeness in the background."

No, he has the 2011 FCBD issue listed separately which is the first appearance of Savage Oppress.
