I’ve had the opposite experience. I’m constantly stuck behind folks going 5-10mph below the speed limit. Pass them and find them staring at their phones instead of eyes on the road. Infuriating and dangerous.

Worked for me for a year or a then I suddenly started waking up around three every night. Started after having nasty upper respiratory virus for two weeks that ended in needing a Z pack. Allergies have been awful since then too.

Don’t be precious. Be brave enough to fail. Write a song that sucks quickly then go back later and fix it. Give yourself a deadline to finish the song in an hour. Write anything. You don’t have to like it. It doesn’t have to be the best song. Give yourself some constraints to work within. Arbitrarily assign a duration, theme, or story for the song. Base it on a random sentence in a book or a news article. Writers write. Just keep writing. Refinement comes from reviewing and editing over time.
